So what do you want us to do? Even if we did everything you want , how are we going to make china, india, and the middle east change their behavior. One other thing, i live in the SW, and we have millions of acres of forest fires burn every yr which releases tons and tons of carbon and other pollutants into the air. One problem is there are hundred if not thousands of trees per acre which is what drives these fires. Would you support the thinnning of the forest by private industry to use for wood product provided they left ‘x’ number of trees per acre (designated by the forest service) so that it reduces that chance of these superfires?

I asked a serious question and will do so once again:

Who will be willing to make a MAJOR impact on their carbon footprint today by giving up meat/dairy TODAY and moving to a locally grown vegan diet whenever such a lefestyle change can be logistically worked out?

As many here may know, our eating habits make up a huge portion of our carbon footprint. This part of our lives can be changed quickly.

I’m still looking for hands…..

I’ve given tons of links. More and more scientists are fleeing from the global warming claims everyday. Most of Al Gore’s talking points from the now dated movie have been debunked.

You like to say that Bush lied about Iraq. That’s nothing compared to what the Global Warming hysterics are pedaling to you folks. Nothing. Bush is telling the truth compared to Gore.

But remember – part of their agenda is casting doubt on science itself. This is where the intelligent design and stem cell research debates come from.

Is that article supposed to prove anything? It says what most of us have known for a long time – that biofeuls, particularly noncellulosic ethanol, are not a viable solution to reducing carbon emissions and are only a pathetic pandering to the farm lobby.

And the ozone hole caused by CFCs (such as freon and the propellants in old hairspray cans) does play a role in climate change by preventing the Southern Ocean from absorbing carbon dioxide.
