P.S. How about no comments from any of them to any serious note about people dying in Darfur., are they all going to be dead before we decide to do something? But no, they all yuck it up. It's a great life, I guess, for some when you sell out your soul.

#688, upright left., yes I do not enjoy anyone making jokes about people dying in wars, right and left. I did not care for Hillary and Bill having a grand old time yukking it up with the resident evil at the opening of Bill's
Presidential Library, while people were dying etc., they all stink. They care less about us then they do about the millions they are all raking in. It is disgusting.

Not watching the Dem debates? They were laughing and having a good time. How about the Hillary and Bill Soprano joke? Did ya laugh at that? We should not be in Iraq, but your implication that leaders should suspend all humor for the duration of the war is unrealistic. If that is the standard, it should certainly extend to comedians who oppose the war making jokes about the handling of the war. Do you oppose those too? ;)

Being unable to admit any mistakes is a sign of a SOCIOPATH.
Sociopaths, as he "kiddingly" remarked while doing his MC Rove dance while
others died, get glee from harming innocent animals.,
No wonder he thinks Barney is a "lump"., this "being" Rove, that is, wouldn't
know compassion if it rolled over him. The Bushies all say what a swell guy he is, great sense of humor. I vaquely recall that there were those who thought Hitler had swell parties as well. The inferment I make is deliberate., this being would have had a swell old time in Germany 70 years ago., and probably did. You, Rove are a lump of flesh = I hope you go away, but I doubt it.

Is anyone actually surprised that he didn't admit to any major mistakes? It goes with the profession. In fact, its pretty much a complete waste of time to ask ANYONE involved in politics to "name your biggest regret/a mistake you have made". Democrat or republican, honest or horrible candidate, it will always illicit one of the following response:

1. Humorous mistake - "I didn't like the White House dog" : Designed to answer the question in technicality without actually revealing any useful information, and still casts the politician in positive light.

2. Overabundance of mistakes - "Ive made too many mistakes to count" : Designed to make the speaker appear humble and introspective, while allowing them to not actually give any one example.

3. Pandering mistake - "I voted for the war in Iraq, now I know that was wrong." : The goal is to take a mistake that you are already widely disliked for, and use your time to apologize for it, sufficiently answering the question, improving your poll ratings and providing zero new information to the public.

4. Misdirection - "Ive made a few, but Id much rather focus on my successes" : Allows you to avoid the question, while casting yourself in a positive light. Now you've turned a dangerous question into a chance for a pre-made speech on your strengths, and you seem optimistic.

5. Outright denial - "I can't recall any mistakes" : Hardly ever used...it doesn't work well and Ive only seen Bush or Gonzales do this.

The whole thing is just a game played by political advisors. The world would be much better off if people like Karl Rove, Frank Lutz and James Carville were shot on a rocket into the heart of the sun.

You can bet KKKarl has chosen what he thinks is the best course for him to follow so he doesn't end up where he belongs, in jail. Wish we could get Jeff Guckert Gannon to talk about his over nights with KKKarl or Bush over night in the WH.

Did you notice the weight he lost when he was so worried about going to jail for lying to the FBI and Grand Jury? Now notice he's gained it all back. Funny how fear will make you lose your appetite. Back to looking more like a republican pig.

And for all you reich wingers expecting Thompson to ride in on his black horse can hang that one up. Did you see how ill he looks these days. And least you forget he has lymphoma and most likely will not make it to Jan of 2009. Oh well, you fascists have so many other republican fascist to choose from. My republican money is on Rudy Judy Trudy Tootie Fruitie, you know him, the family values guy with 3 wives that lies about 9/11 all the time.

And to the complete republican idiot that wrote this, "brought down the deficit", you are so dumb it is beyond dumb. Go to Iraq or STFU, you are too stupid to comment here, go to drudge where you belong.

Everyone laughed at Baghdad Bob when he said that the Iraqi people would never surrender, and that American blood would paint the streets of Baghdad.

Well no ones laughing now.

So no Democrat leader has laughed and joked around since the war started? ;)
</em>
Comment by uptight right — August 19, 2007 @ 2:07 pm

Not like that. In fact, Rove is always smirking smugly at the cameras and the press, and acting like an imbecile, as does the moron Bush.

Better a Lump than a turd... the stench of Karl 'turd blossom' rove lingers on throughout the bush administration and Washington d.c. and will persist for the next 50 years.

Time for a mass impeachment of all the Corrupt Cronies in Bushco.
