I gotta bet that ‘ol Glenn has a skeleton or two in his closet. Perhaps it about time they come roaring out.

  3. Markus Says:

I live in my sister’s basement, thank you very much.

And when did Beck move out of his dad’s bakery shop?
Given those massive jowls of his it would appear that he must regularly frequents that locale and partake in the jelly-filled…

  4. TerrytheTurtle Says:

Whoah that’s why it’s so dark here. Hey Glen, what’s the smell in here? Can you tell me?

  5. detroitsuperfly Says:

You can always tell when conservative republicans are in petrified fear of the influence of any given liberal when their hatred, anger and focus becomes intensely focused on their target.

Blogs and Hillary are their main focus now. Why? Cause cons know they are genuine and real threats to their power base.

If they didn’t think so, they wouldn’t be bothered.

  6. detroitsuperfly Says:

Another thing is that all conservative sources and pundits become in synch with verbatim hatred for their target.

    Conservatives are so transparent.

  7. Menehune Says:

If there was ever proof that the media is a willing and complicit partner in the destruction of America, just try to watch this tool’s show. And watch CNN interview Beyonce live about her YouTube moment instead of covering the real news.

Who’s this turd, anyway? Glen Beck? another Naziboy wannabe, busy avoiding service in Iraq? what a tough muffin he is.

  10. Hate-siteusersliveinmomsbasementtoo Says:

Despite his role as a generally lower tier conservative talk show host, Bech hit the nail on the head. Bloggers–the majority of whom are libtards and progressive ideologues–HAVE to live in the basement of their mom’s house. This stereotype does bear out when one looks at the way that libtards and progtards live their emotional, radicalized and ideological lives. Living in one’s mom’s basement brings with it the connotations of poverty, being unambitious, lacking education, lacking a social life, and being unwashed. All these traits belong exclusively to the libtards and progtards that visit these hate-sites like TP and post the whole day long. It just goes to logic. Since bloggers and these progressive posters on sites like this can sit behind their PCs the whole day doing nothing but fueling their paranoia, it stands to reason they will be unwashed, have no social life, have no job, have no girlfriends, and ultimately end up relying on mom.

  11. Jay Randal Says:

Beck is an extremely stupid fascist jerk, so who cares what he spews about anything. Before Beck got his job at CNN he lived under a bridge.

  12. RUCerious Says:

Notice all the recent attacks from the right-wing pundits over blogs lately??? They are TERRIFIED of the blogs despite their constant attempts to diminish them. They know they are being watched now. They know every lie or racist remark they make will be spread throughout the internet, sent to their advertisers, etc.

The blogs have improved democracy for the average joe, and that terrifies the paid corporate propagandists.

  51. Hitchens is a drunk Says:

If basement equals ocean view property in southern california he’s got me dead to rights…Beck it hurts when you cut to the quick…

In all seriousness I think the MSM needs a narrative that bloggers are like Shatner’s Trekies living in the basement and needing a life. If that isn’t the narrative they shiver. What happens if the idea of a blogger turns into electronic Pamphleteers, modern day Thomas Paines, citizen activists? That is not at all what they want bloggers viewed as, that is dangerous to their very livelihood and importance.

  52. gabriel Says:

Beck is rather lame and corny. He is a cheap imitation of the lifeless sacks of feces on FauxNoise. He only exists to make the rest of CNN look progressive or center by comparison. Don’t fall for it.

Beck’s ONLY PURPOSE is to be a lightning rod for CNN, so the rest of their anchors (who spew nothing but WH talking points and propaganda) look “normal”. They are all one in the same. Paid professional propagandists. I turned to CNN one night and from how they were “reporting” you would think there are only allCIAduh in Iraq and no more insurgents. *gags*

Do not watch tv news unless you want to know what propaganda they are feeding the masses. That is its only useful purpose. Cross reference everything they say with online sources to verify its validity.

Beck was just saying the facts as he knows them.

    Think about it folks.

All Beck hangs out with is neocons, therefore, the only bloggers he knows, are neocon bloggers (trolls). Since we know all trolls live in their moms basement then Beck was just speaking from his own experience.

  60. DISTURBIA Says:

Oh yea, and Becks a dick.

  61. bilbobaggins Says:

I like it that they are terrified of us. Feel free to fling mud Beck, it will only come back to bite you in the butt.

Besides, it’s only our resident re-tard trolls who live in their mommy’s basement. All of us “libtards” have jobs and families and have long since left the nest.

You ain’t even seen offensive and crude.
Check out Drugde, O’Reilly or any of the other red state blogs, and get your full measure of offensive and crude.

The trolls get smacked with offensive and crude regularly, but they seem to enjoy it, kinda like a masochistic frenzy for them.

  77. Why are Republicans destroying America? Says:

Republicans show over and over again that they’ll do anything to get their way, regardless of ethics, morality, legality, etc. “Playing by the rules” is a thing of the past.

  78. sluggo Says:

CNN continues to tarnish their own reputation by continuing to host Beck. The network likely thinks that Beck “engenders controversy” and so is broadcast-worthy. In fact, Beck is a living example of the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of the CNN news organization. Rather than engender controversy Beck engenders disgust at CNN and pity on those reputable journalists still working for the network.

  79. Buddy Rich Says:

Beck has the shittiest ratings on CNN, so why do they keep him?

It obviously isn’t a business decision, as networks live, breathe and die on ratings.

Maybe someone at Time Warner is doing their best to try and one-up Fake News?

  80. AkaDad Says:

  81. Poor Richard Says:

The progressive blogosphere should be happy. You know you’re doing the right things when the conservative blowhard machine starts attacking you.

Bush&Co ALWAYS attack those who are the most dangerous to them. Always. The stronger the attack, the more dangerous the entity. Look at Wilson/Plame, look at any ex-Bushie who criticizes them once they’ve left. The most trustworthy are attacked by calling them the least trustworthy.

Have you noticed just how much bloggers are being villianized by the right these days? How much and how vehemently did they attack YearlyKos? MediaMatters? The right-wing blowhards are attacking bloggers more and more.

It is a sign of something good!

  114. Jericho Says:

Well euhm. Some of these bloggers are definately living in their mom’s basement. But that doesn’t mean that they’re unable to make solid arguement. Beck is only stipulating how he’s doing very well thanks to all the wealthy businessmen he helps with his propaganda while ‘bloggers’ as he sees them have nothing to win or lose at all, all they have (like Beck) is an opinion. Only, the bloggers actually make sensible points where Beck is either full of lies, stupid, nuts or all three. Consider a blogger from Iraq. He might live in his mom’s basement. Does that mean he can’t teach Beck a thing or 3 about the situation on the ground? Probably EVER blogger can teach Beck a thing or 3 about the situation on the ground in his home town and country, well, with Beck having his head up his own behind and all….

This is great! I love Glenn Beck! Someone that’s not afraid to speak his mind. I love how bloggers take this so seriously. We live in a pathetic oversensitive society.

  117. Marley Says:

Let’s start an “I Blog From” campaign. Idiots like Beck have NO CLUE!

I Blog From My Loft Overlooking Manhattan’s Skyline

    Where do you blog from?

  118. Nonyabus Says:

You are all a bunch of nut cases. You may not specifically live in your mom’s basement, but you are a bunch of angry, paranoid, hippy idiots.

  119. A Soldier Says:

I wish I were blogging from a basement. Blogging from Iraq is not quite as friendly.

  120. Patrick Says:

Interestingly enough another political commentator who is a conservative and evangelical is one of the biggest advocates of blogging and really helped bring awareness of the medium to a wider audience.

    Speaking of Hugh Hewitt.

  121. lanus Says:

I blog from my ocean view bungalow on Venice Beach
    beck bites

  122. chris allen Says:

Glen Becks comments do not mean that much? Then why the hell has so many of you idiots comment about him. It is easy to push the buttons of the ignorant. Better stop now. Watch Glen Beck, push your left wing agenda aside for a second and find out that things that he says are truthful. Open minds defend closed hearts.

  123. Greg NH Says:

    Dismissed garbage from this loser.

  124. Canadian Frood Says:

Just a few thoughts to talk about instead of whoever is delivering the Idea:

The freedom of speech that America gave the world is almost dead. Due to fears of offending someone and getting fired or sued( I myself try and answer all questions in the workplace with yes, no or I don’t know)

Iraq needs 800,000 Armed People of character to support the American Initiative there. ( I’ll Volunteer if I could be of use, though I’m a little old for it, in the endevoure once througholy planned)

The World is probably warming and we probably won’t be able to stop it . How should we best proceed to ensure Human continuance with the least amount of horror?
