Vicki Strong’s remarks in Freedom Watch’s propaganda ads are insulting. I have an aunt who lost three friends in the World Trade Center on 9/11, and to link this stinking war to that tragedy is an already-revealed bold faced lie!!! And, I’ve got several cousins serving in Iraq and I want them all to return home ALIVE, not in a pine box!

These ads will not change one fact: The American people are tired of the Bush Administration and we are tired of this war, and ads such as the ones that Freedom Watch are putting out won’t change how we feel. In fact, they will make people like me all the more determined to vote out of office whoever insists on keeping our troops in harm’s way. I feel awful about Ms. Strong losing her son over there, but she doesn’t speak for me or the many other military relatives who are worried sick about our loved ones.

Hatch is not speaking up because of the millions of dollars Stickler gave to the Republican party in both elections. Look Stickler knew if he gave to the Republicans he would get brakes and make more money. He could have used that money to make the mines safer but he chose to give it to the Republicans for favors. Hatch has to stick up for him because were talking about double figure millions given.
Look the bridge that collapsed could have been repaired but the money was used else where not for the safety of the people. No worries the bridge that the US built in Afghanistan is really good and safe as we paid billions to make sure the job was done right.

Being familiar with federal resource agencies and how they operate in the West, I can safely say that anyone endorsed or supported by Orrin Hatch is generally not operating in the best interests of the citizens of this country.

Why do we, the citizens of the United States, have to accept the continuing use of the words coming from the Republican: “He has done his best” when we all know that “Better” is the only degree to which we can accept. The best any and all of the Bush Administration appointees and the president and vice president can do is to “All Resign.”

#7 oldtree: We were trying to win an election last year against him, but the netroots like you completely ignored that while going on your losing quest to beat Lieberman. You could have helped defeat Hatch and elect Pete Ashdown, a tech-savvy, ISP owner, who would have represented Utah. Guess it was more important to have one more Republican in office with another independent instead of helping a Democrat get elected.
