It is very easy for Kristol to blithly declare that the Army and Marines should stretch for six months to a year. He never served in the military and I doubt if any of his family or acquaintences have either. He further puts on as though he knows something about the military in deriding Sen Warner’s suggestion to pull back at least 5000 by Christmas, saying that Warner didn’t think it out and it would do harm to adjacent units.

Of course, Kristol doesn’t care about the troops, no matter what the JSC and senior officers are saying. Most of them are goyem, anyway. What does he care.

Kristol is out of touch with the reality on the ground in Iraq. Our military is already being stretched to the point of breaking. It is unfair to the troops. Also giving a year more to a flawed policy will make no difference. The surge is likely to fail no matter how much time it gets.

William Kristol is spot on. We are slowly but surely turning the tide. We should do whatever it takes to achieve a total unequivocal victory, decisively defeating al-qaeda, Iran and Syria and completely marginalizing their domestic enablers in Congress.

I am a Marine vet and the mother two kids serving. I have a son in the Marines who will be headed back to Iraq in September. You have no idea how much this pisses me off to hear this wingnut motherf*cker say this stuff. These people have absolutely no soul. I can’t even stand this anymore!
