Unfortunately, Rep Davis has absolutely NO credibility. He actually sounded like an honest broker in the clip as if he has ever acted on his oversight responsibility. Rep. Davis has been one one the most staunch Bush White House enablers in Congress. It’s too late to make up now!!!

So, Bigfoot, are you saying that the 67% of the people in America who think we should get the hell out of Iraq are going to believe what the White House says? They haven’t believed them for a long time and I see no reason why they will believe them now. They made a big mistake by admitting that they were writing the report. I suspect the reason why they are doing that is because Petraus would not go along with their making “his report” into a propaganda piece.

As to what will the Democrats do for me. Hopefully they will stand up to the White House and call Petraus on any lies he tries to tell. I wish I could say that I have faith they will do it, but at this point, I have lost faith in the Democratic Party.

Finally, my complaint was not about my posts being deleted – it was about references to HC being deleted. That any sign of Hilary quotes aresubject to deletion.

That is the repression of free speech. Why would a blog that titles itself “ThinkProgress” want to repress truth?????

Why? Perhaps because this blog really isn’t about truth, or thinking, or progress. Perhaps this blog is about Democratic power regardless of the truth.
