Fox News gives slim coverage to Craig scandal.
Media Matters reports, “From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET on August 27, Fox News devoted only 3 minutes and 47 seconds to segments discussing Sen. Larry Craig’s lewd-conduct arrest. By contrast, MSNBC aired 8 minutes and 26 seconds of coverage on the story, while CNN aired 20 minutes and 38 seconds.”

About 3 months ago, one of the trolls posted a comment about "the Dems are playing w/ you the way we play w/ our religious nuts." That last part, "the way we play w/ our religious nuts", is an exact quote. )I have a rather good memory :-D!!).
Anway, about 3 weeks ago, a different troll used the EXACT same phrase in a post. "the way we lay w/ our religious nuts..." EXACT!

I've had my own run-ins w/ the regs here about that and I backed off, although the vulgarity does seem to have abated somewhat.
I've wondered quite a bit the last couple of months what is is really about. Free speech is a strange and mysterious thing, bilbo. Combine it w/ the safety of anonimity and more tahn a few go to extremes very quickly. I'm not sure what the answer is.
I have learned to rebutt trolls pretty well. I kind of enjoy filleting one cleanly w/ his own lie. Sometimes, the quality of the posts is so silly, there's nothing to rebutt. Sometimes, I do think it serves a purpose to rebutt a blatant distortion of the truth.
Some of the loclas do seem to enoy going toe to toe w/ trolls. I just let them. It's a free speech thing, I guess.

Now that I've been here for a bit, i pick and choose a little bit, and sometimes, when I get on a roll, it's impossible not to destroy them and send them running. At other times, it's best to ignore, since they're just flinging crap. What's the point of having this technology if you can't have a little fun at the expense of the LOSERS that come looking for trouble? Especially late at night, when the day's news has been digested.

Hasn't Craig admitted to perjuring himself, if he plead guilty under oath in a court of law to something he says he didn't do? I'm assuming the guilty plea and handown of fine and probation was given before a judge, but I haven't seen any details on a court appearance.
"I'm not gay, I'm just a perjurer," seems to be his defense.
Of course, he, and the righties, will never understand it's not about being gay, which is irrelevant.

No one cares that Craig is gay. In fact, its really sad he has to say "I'm not gay." However, I imagine he has to say this more because of the intolerance of the Republican party than the anything else.
I also don't care that Clinton got a BJ. I wouldn't care if Craig got a BJ either, be it by man or woman, except for the fact that he was soliciting this behavior in a public restroom and that he claims to be so staunchly "family values"

Yesterday, the Foxnews show "Hannity and Colmes" had over 20 minutes of coverage on this issue.
They had Democratic pundit Bob Hackel speaking to Hannity and Colmes about it as well as two other individuals.
It shows how much TP writers and the TP Liberals that type on here watch Foxnews. MediaMatters was wrong and TP owes an apology to Foxnews. I hope Foxnews places a law suit against TP and MediaMatters for libel.
Anyone that doubts this can call up Foxnews and ask for a recording of yesterday's Hanity and Colmes which airs 9-EST.
It also shows that Liberals are so easily manipulated by anyone.
