The progtards are in mortal danger of purposefully misconstruing this simple article of three paragraphs. McClatchy newspapers–like Gannett–are radicalized, liberal fanatics, so it’s no surprise that their examination of the way military commanders will make their recommendations is laced with nothing but ideological spin. The one, true, correct interpretation here is that Bush ought to be praised for his tolerant openness in permitting all these different commanders to give their various viewpoints about strategy. Progtarded misinterpretations on these boards range from the BS that the strategy “ain’t” working, or that the commanders want to distance themselves from fact that it’s Bush ultimate decision. However, it’s only Bush’s ultimate decision because he’s the CiC, not because the military wants to “distance” themselves from the Iraq strategy and make it clear that their decision wasn’t followed. Progtards should be fair and admit Bush is consistent for listening to ALL his generals: that’s why he permits their differing views in these assessments!

It is very entertaining to read this sites opinions. I would love to go to this event and watch, “prominent blogger’s and actvists”. These people are the most respected and partisan in the “I Hate GWB” sector of America. If you have hate, we’ll feed it!!!

That shows that the 110th Congress for all the heat we give them has succeeded where no other Congress has, force the executive to seek redress from Congress. The intelligence service has always been a tool for the law enforcement duties of the executive rather than the legislative.

The only unfortunate cut was the manner in which the 110th Congress dispensed of the FISA legislation like it was some legislation to mark some wild land designation for a colleague that just passed away.
