Has anyone won an argument with the trolls yet?
You can't win an argument with an idiot, so why even try?
These trolls are here for one reason only, and that is to distract.
They live a sad life, where their sole gratification comes from disrupting and antagonizing commenters on progressive blogs.

<em>"Again, the oil thing is just silly. We could have had the oil without invading Iraq, Saddam would have gladly sold it to us as we saw from the way he dealt with the UN in the Oil for Food scandal.
Quit being a moonbat and talk about the real world.
Comment by Frank J "</em>

If that is the case Francine, then why is Bush pushing so hard to get the Iraqi government to turn over their oil profits to US and British oil companies?

Not that I expect an answer. Francine has not earned his balls back.

I woud think its related to China dumping a butt load of American dollars, Possibly due to sub-prime collapse.

And this is the reason the big ten like to berate bloggers, they are basically getting scooped. Not that it matters all that much as alot of people dont read blogs or digg for details.

But it seems to drive Beck and Oreilly into spasms. B^P
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
$4.7 billion margin call that comes due 9/21/07? Someone posted about it in Cole’s comments, and I’m very curious!
I haven't. I read this [counterpunch.org] on Afghan costs. Much unaccounted for. And the current admin is seeking another 50bn.
IAEA criticizes US military deal with Mideast
(With photos) VIENNA, Aug 30 (KUNA) -- US military deals with its Middle Eastern allies will not help the security situation in the region, said International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Director Mohammad El-Baradei on Thursday.
Speaking to an Austrian "Profile" weekly magazine, Baradei described the US decision to provide Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia with military equipment as "unhelpful," adding that it would actually fuel tensions in the region and contribute to further aggravation of its security situation.
Spending such resources on fighting poverty and promoting education and health would be a much better way of helping the people of the region, Baradei was quoted as saying.
Baradei's remarks followed the US decision to offer USD 30 billion in military assistance to Israel, as well as UAD 20 billion to Egypt and the GCC. The deal, comprising large quantities of state-of-the-art weaponry, is to protect US allies from threats by other regional countries. (end) amg.hb KUNA 300932 Aug 07NNNN
<b>Iraq seeks long-term security agreement with US -- Zebari </b>
BAGHDAD, Aug 30 (KUNA) -- Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said Thursday that his country will work on sealing a long-term security agreement with the US in the coming year, after the lapse of the UN agreement over the presence of the Multi-National Force (MNF) in Iraq.
Speaking at a press conference, Zebari said the recent agreement between Iraqi politicians included a clause on the Iraqi government's readiness to enter a long-term security agreement with the US, and "this will help us and our coalition friends to work together with greater freedom in the security field." He added, "At the end of this year, the UN will revise the presence of the MNF in Iraq and we will work for issuing a new Security Council resolution over a new, joint security arrangement." In this respect, the foreign minister said his country wished for the extension of the MNF mission to be linked to a long-term partnership and entering detailed talks on new security arrangements.
He said that such arrangements required great effort and would be a step toward boosting Iraq's sovereignty, but noted that it was still early to discuss the establishment of American bases in Iraq.
Iraq, he said, was in need of such security agreements because its security capabilities remained week.
On a different noted, the foreign minister said an extended meeting of Iraq's neighbors would be held at the level of experts in Baghdad during the first week of September.
He added that preparations were being made for hosting this meeting, which would include Iraq's neighbors, the five permanent members of the UN, and the G-8.
The experts will look into progress made by the three committee formed during the meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh on energy, security and immigrants, he said.
They will also look into preparations for the ministerial conference that will be hosted by Istanbul at a later date, the foreign minister added.
Moreover, Zebari mentioned the continued Iranian shelling of Iraqi locations on joint borders, saying that this had become a daily happening and that residential areas in Sulaimaniya and Irbil were being targeted.
The Iraqi government has voiced its protest over these attacks and summoned on Tuesday the Iranian ambassador to deliver a memorandum of protest over this issue, demanding an immediate suspension of operations so as not to harm bilateral relations, he explained.
Iraq stands ready to discuss all issues with Iran in the spirit of cooperation, he underscored.
On Tuesday, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry had issued a statement in which it called on Iran to stop shelling Kurdish areas in northern Iraq, warning that this could harm bilateral relations.
The statement said more than 450 Kurdish families in 20 villages had been evacuated because of the shelling. (end) ahh.ema KUNA 301154 Aug 07NNNN
RE #141
Well said and you're correct. It is amazing to me that so few people whether a wingnut or a libtard, bother to pick up the phone, type an email, let alone a letter to the morons in office. Even those who are a local phone call away. I routinely call my wingnut Congressman to let him know why I'm voting against him and even more frequently I contact either by phone or email, my libtard Congressmen and Senators to let them know why I'm not contributing to their campaign or their party. My sense is that few of us do and so the morons in office on both sides of the political aisle generally react solely to the idiot news. Which is like reading newspapers published in WWII to gleen how the country feels.
I thought it most interesting that the blog sites in general broke the story of Bedtime for Gonzo well ahead of the idiot news and nailed it 100%. On Monday the idiot news was loudly proclaiming how it was a big surprise. Surprise only to those who depend on the idiot news. I doubt the majority of the morons in office can type let alone get their news off the net as they are far too busy primping themselves for the next photo op.
I routinely call my wingnut Congressman to let him know why I’m voting against him and even more frequently I contact either by phone or email, my libtard Congressmen and Senators to let them know why I’m not contributing to their campaign or their party. My sense is that few of us do and so the morons in office on both sides of the political aisle generally react solely to the idiot news. Which is like reading newspapers published in WWII to gleen how the country feels.
I thought it most interesting that the blog sites in general broke the story of Bedtime for Gonzo well ahead of the idiot news and nailed it 100%. On Monday the idiot news was loudly proclaiming how it was a big surprise. Surprise only to those who depend on the idiot news. I doubt the majority of the morons in office can type let alone get their news off the net as they are far too busy primping themselves for the next photo op.
<i>It’s possible Bush will surprise everybody by offering significant troop withdrawals based on his commanders’ advice next month. Bush might be setting up a scenario where he can “blame” his commanders for his defeat.
Meanwhile, Cheney's setting up a scenario where we attack Iran the week after Labor Day:
Also - has anyone heard anything else about this $4.7 billion margin call that comes due 9/21/07? Someone posted about it in Cole's comments, and I'm very curious!
Commanders have been split for a long time now. This is not really news. Some wanted the surge, some didn't, some wanted to go to Iraq, some wanted to remain strongly after Bin Laden. The fact that this is even a story kind of pissed me off.
Commanders are undecided because they know that the surge is the wrong policy. They know it is virtually impossible to win a civil war. They also know that so far the surge has not met its goals.
"Question of the evening: Why was Ronald Reagan a successful President and Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton failures?
Comment by Frank J — August 30, 2007 @ 1:02 am"
Because he lived in an alternate universe. Oh and he illegally sold weapons...attempted to overthrow governments and Oliver North was one of his best friends. Perhaps it's that astrologer he & Nancy consulted on a reagular basis.
Or you are just delusional -
I've done the same thing with a group making a recommendation to a boss I thought was an idiot and didn't want to have anything to do with a bad idea.
C'mon, we've all been sitting around talking about things and decided to let the idiot in charge decide because you didn't really want to have anything to do with the decision.
