Frankly I don’t care about the quotes which those lawmakers actually said. Being taken out of context is perfect normal.

What I care about is that you wankers see nothing wrong with lying about a person’s voting record. You see nothing wrong with it, because, to your mind, it is acceptable to lie to win an argument. It is why we always have to go to the effort to check what you say because you have no integrity.

Your idea of honour is wrapped around you dick, you have no concept whatsoever of honour as tying to honesty.

Except it doesn’t mistate the record. It might have the odd occassional headline which you disagree with, but it provides the stories it is reporting on and provides its sources if you want to check them up. When it is incorrect, as has happened, it gets corrected.

And I have fact checked Think Progress before. Unlike you, a known liar, it has proven reliable.

These flyers outright lie about the record. They outright lie, and isn’t it interesting that one of the issues they lie about, is troop withdrawal.

You don’t believe the South is educated, you just think you are. You still believe they will buy your crap even as it has proven over, and over again to be crap. Just slap it with a Bible and wrap it in a flag and they won’t recognise the fact that it belongs in a sewer coz, well garsh, they just dumb hicks to your thinking.

They can think for themselves and they don’t like the way you are dragging America. Sure, liberals tease them about the stereotype, but then hell ever seen the stereotypical New Yorker? A neurotic self-absorbed basket case that almost justifies 9/11, except that just like the stereotypical redneck hick, it doesn’t actually exist.

The difference is where liberals joke, you conservatives don’t. You really think deep down in your soul that poor-to-middle class middle America believes all the same shit about God, Church and country. You think they never think past where they are, and you think they can’t change their minds. You think they are dumb, prejudiced and easily swayed hicks.

The Republicans, for all their fury, their hate, have failed to achieve results, and in the end the people of Middle America recognise this just as they recognise how you have used them to try and buy yourselves some sort of legitimacy.

And frankly they are sick of picking up the tab for your ignorant, stupid and arrogant beliefs. They are sick of a bunch of wussies who feel the need to be victims, which is the tactic I have noted you using on this forum with your cowardly claims that “Oh, but the right are never right” when you damn well what your results are.

We judge your ideas by whether they work. You had six years of real power, unprecedented power and the net result is a staggering national debt, two wars, two major disasters and the world hates you. You have failed.

They have seen you turn a surplus, into a deficit. They have seen their pets die from imported Chinese goods which due to America’s debt with China, are going to stay on the market with only cosmetic changes. Maybe a few officials die in China, the poison remains.

Frankly, a lot has happened since 2004.

The heartlands have gotten a big nasty look at the price of Republicanism, with Hurricane Katrina. They didn’t like what they saw.

They got a nice long look at Republican corruption, with K-Street, the only single party major corruption in American history. They didn’t like what they saw.

They got a nice long look at Republican hypocrisy, thanks to the gay sex scandals which don’t seem to be going away. And understand this, rightwinger, they got a nice long look into your souls when Hastert was revealed to have known about Foley, and done nothing.

Of course there’s a difference between posting on a public blog and being able to hand out an opinion to every service member in Iraq while not allowing an opposing viewpoint. But, that was not my point in post #1: I was referring to the content — misstating the record, or even just cherry-picking the Representatives’ “most incendiary” statements, is exactly what Think Progress does too.
