Radical muslims are not a race. The fact that Western Europe’s large population of immigrant Muslims are being brainwashed by the radicals in countries like Germany, France, and Great Britian and that the “natives” of those countries keep them seperated from their “society” smacks of racism. I suggest you listen to the experts before you call it fearmongering that today’s Western Europeans will soon be a minority in their own country and if they don’t start accepting these immigrants as equals they will continue to suffer the consequences for their racist attitudes in the way of continued terrorist attacks.

BTW can you explain why Western Europe has such a huge problem with radical Muslims and terrorist cells and the U.S. Muslim population is far more assimilated and economically better off than their couterparts in Europe?

Yes but U.N. R1441 didn’t just state that if WMDs were found that would be a serious violation. 1441 also stated that it would be a violation by Iraq if ALL of the previous resolutions passed were not abided by.

The rest of the world, AT THE TIME BEFORE THE INVASION, choose to believe that they had all been destroyed. The past actions of Saddam supported there were WMDs, AT THE TIME BEFORE THE INVASION, backed up by with the intelligence reports. It’s easy to gloat after the fact now that the intelligence information has been proven to be mostly inaccurate.

How many intelligence agencies from around the world including the UNSCOM need to state that they believed that Saddam had not destroyed all of his WMDs OR dismantled his facilities, OR didn’t want to reconstitute his nuclear program?

When it comes to national security and when the intelligence reports provide the evidence and when it’s clear Saddam was NOT complying with U.N. R1441 the debate ends. The responsibility of the defence of the U.S. rests with the Commander in Chief, not Congess. Sorry if I choose to follow the Constitution.

I seem to remember alot of debate and in the end I also seem to remember the vast majority of congress agreeing with Bush.

No, because he was not complying with UN R1441. All he had to do is FULLY comply and he wouldn’t have had a problem. Instead he led the inspectors on circus trip around the country demanding to know ahead of time when the inspectors would arrive at various sites and submitting bogus and phony WMD reports about their destruction and lists of their quantities. He tried to fool the U.N., AGAIN, plain and simple.

BTW, point #1 in my original question:
