Ad hominem attacks are never appropriate in proper debate — even if it’s an accurate description — even retarded people can be right twice a day. Comment by Jake D. — September 5, 2007 @ 3:43 pm

The retard is admitting he was right, while attacking the person that bested him! Accuracy is always appropriate Jake D., what's inappropriate is the disingenuous fashion you use to 'debate', as it isn't debate it's deceptive banter. We're ALL sure many a judge lectured you on this bad habit, yet here you are, a retarded old f*rt that never learned anything!

Jake D. was wrong YET AGAIN, and while you're at it, please go turn yourself in for the Terrorism activities of your CHURCH like a good little terrorist. Retard.

The fact is the Republican agenda is DEAD. It only survives in the gullible, easily-manipulated few, and the old-timers who can't bring themselves to leave the only thing they know.

Bush has a raised an enter GENERATION that hates his party, its agenda, and everything it claims to stand for.

Illegal, unamerican spying programs like this are all the republicons have to maintain control. With each attempt at holding on though, they only loose more grip. They've already clearly lost their grip on reality. Just look at how they have paid hacks writing posts in defense of them. In reality these hacks only illustrate how dangerous and unamerican these types of things are.

If you won’t even concede Bush was elected, he certainly hasn’t held the Office or acted as President, has he? The word “serve” is not found anywhere in the 22nd Amendment. For the record, calling someone “retarded” is a personal attack.
Comment by Jake D. — September 5, 2007 @ 3:13 pm

For the record, if the person IS retarded, it's a description, not an attack.

For the record many presidents that have served were not elected, Truman for instance. I made poor Jake look like a FOOL, and now the poor old f*rt can't cope! Widen your stance Jake D!ck, you'll feel better!

For the record "hold the office" is a "synonym" for "serve in the office" for anyone who isn't as retarded as Jake the dumbest lawyer to hold the california bar!

For the Record, Jake D. abdicates his own rights as a US citizen due to his membership in an extremist religious organization that terrorizes gay people and abortion clinics. Jake D. is a self admitted terrorist who admits he doesn't want any rights for terrorists.

Luckily, for the rest of us, John “terrorists are only criminals” Kerry did not get elected President.

You forgot the little heh heh snicker. For the record, Jake, all of the terrorists caught in places like England were caught using standard criminal investigation techniques. Funny how that works.

listening to randi... she is talking about her ideas that may tie the repugs throwing craig out with the warrentless spying...
seems craig was one of the few repugs who were against it...
dubya even called craig "a g_ d_ traitor" once, because of it...
maybe specter wants to keep craig on for his vote to fix that mess...

seems logical to me...

This cabal in the admin. will be ousted and the Rethug party is DEAD. It will take awhile to clean up the sickening mess these stupid Neocon morons have created but we will succeed. Our Constitution will not be brought down by a few warmongering, money grubbing criminals who are supported by the most ignorant portion of our population.
Rethugs are all just a bunch of closet homosexuals who think our tax dollars belongs in their and their pal's hands.
WRONG AGAIN.
They have created the LARGEST govt. of any admin, spent more money than any admin. ( with nothing to show for it) and lead our troops into a war they had NO CLUE how to win because that wasn't their intent. The intent was to wipe out Iraq and take their national treasure.
True criminals one and all. Their supporters are nothing more than Nazi locksteppers.

No. One idiot troll is all most mortals should have to deal with. You showed up at TP one day and you won't leave. Your posts are juvenile and your playground retorts are childish and foolish. If you are truly trying to represent the republican side, you are not doing them any favors. Anybody still trying to decide which side of the fence they will stand should read your posts. Based on your words, they would agree the right side needs medical attention very quickly. Even if your words had substance and import, I don't mind an opposing point of view. You simply show off your substandard application of the rights talking points. You don't even do a good job at reciting other peoples words. Geez, who would have thought home schooling would have such a devstating impact on your ability to reason. Makes me thankful I went to public school.

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term."

If you won't even concede Bush was elected, he certainly hasn't held the Office or acted as President, has he? The word "serve" is not found anywhere in the 22nd Amendment. For the record, calling someone "retarded" is a personal attack.

For the record, Jake is a FU(KHEAD idiot. Oh, and he lies. Worst of all, he is irrelevant.

There, on "the list". ;-)

I bet the progressive ideologues here are rejoicing in their uninformed misunderstanding of this data-mining project from the DHS. Comment by OlbermannactuallyhasashowonTV? — September 5, 2007 @ 3:10 pm

I bet you wear pink lacy panties when you make your WIDE STANCE at the mens room!

I bet the progressive ideologues here are rejoicing in their uninformed misunderstanding of this data-mining project from the DHS. These progs are rejoicing because they presumptuously put civil liberties and privacy above and beyond the most important priority in the States today (and, no, leftards, it's not healthcare): securing the homeland from more terror attacks. However, before you progressives rejoice by burning yet another Bush effigy, you should take care to be circumspect--something you NEVER are--by clicking on the link and reading the ASSociated Press link about this article. In it, a higher-up in the DHS clearly is quoted as saying that while this particular mining project is finished, the DHS will use other ones with similar functionality that are also more cost-effective. Translation: all you progressives will continue to suffer MORE nightmares from the federal govt's rightful policy of mining through data to connect possible terrorists.

For the record, if Bush was not elected either time, then the 22nd Amendment limit of two terms doesn’t apply. You’d better hurry up though, Fake Jakes, you are already behind the post count.

For the record, the constitution refers to 'serving' two terms, poor jake FOR THE RECORD shows why his law firm is thrilled he retired!
