They're bringing in the big guns. Bill Clinton has been let loose.

Have you noticed all the terrorist warnings this last day?
- Bin Laden plays 9/11 video?
- Iraq withdrawals "off the table": Republicans
- U.S. sees terrorist attack threat in Nigeria

Bush is playing the fear game again. Stay in Iraq for another Friedman. The surge is working.

If anybody can counteract the Republicans dastardly plan, Bill can. I just hope the rest of the U.S. (World) sees it.

Sexual Terrorist in the White House

Why We're Touring the Clinton Library
By Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey

Like far too many women in this country, all three of us have experienced the crime of sexual assault and the violation of sexual harassment by men in powerful positions. Each of us has battled with the shame, humiliation, and fear of coming forward to report the assault. Each of us has worried about how this sexual harassment and assault will affect our careers. Two of us, however, suffered this kind of experience at the hands of a United States president...

Bigfoot,

You definately know how to use smoke and mirrors well. But in response, the National Guard is not supposed to get deployed internationally. They are supposed to stay here and help with domestic threats and national disasters. Since we have been deploying them in record numbers, there is no one left to help respond to our national emergencies.

That is the point - not that Bush himself should be there reconstructing New Orleans, but that he took the resources that are designed for this type of job and moved them to a location where whey would be unable to do their job. Leaving ALOT fewer resources to do the job.

As many people point out, there is plenty of blame to go around, but the issue here is our military at its breaking point - not Clinton's record - Not who should rebuild after Katrina - but that we are running our military on empty for this Occupation and the President (and us as a nation) have been unwilling to sacrifice by instituting a draft and increasing taxes to pay for this.

Bigfoot - At least with Clinton we had an economy, we had a treasury with money and we had International credibility. With Bush we are the laughing stock of the world, we are in debt to another country, we have over 27,000 wounded military and 3735 dead. With Clinton he actually believed the people had rights. Was he morally stupid? Yes. But was he a good President HELL YES !

Name just one thing Bush has done for the benefit of the American people. Just one. Bush needs to go live in the country he loves, Iraq. Take his mother especially who "just couldn't bear to have her beautiful eyes see the body bags of dead Americans." That whole family is despicable.

"For the record, it’s been 2 years since Katrina hit and Bush has yet to admit he depleted the National Guard and Reserves to fight his conflict and that left insufficient resources for them to conduct their primary mission.

Comment by hellinabucket — September 5, 2007 @ 4:55 pm"

And why should he admit it if it simply is not true? And that's PRESIDENT Bush to you.

Saving the people from Hurricanes is not a constitutionally mandated Presidential duty. Protecting the U.S. from foreign enemies is.

Hurricane Katrina rebuilding= Not the President's job.

Commander-in-Chief of the Military= The Presiden't job.

You folks would seem to understand that, listening to how much you whine about the President supposedly violating the Constitution.

In a nutshell, you advocate violating the constitution as long as it suits YOUR purposes as a political talking point, nothing more.

If you care that much about the aftermath of Katrina, why aren't you off your butts helping in the cleanup?

Oh, and for folks who havn't figured it out yet: Bill Clinton isn't President anymore. But if Hillary wins next year, which she might, you all will deserve what you get.

NO MORE CLINTONS!
I am 45 years old--and there has been either a Bush or a Clinton on the ticket IN EVERY SINGLE ELECTION SINCE I'VE BEEN ELIGIBLE TO VOTE.
Enough--time to expand our horizons, people!

Cripes, I’d crawl over barbed wire to have Poppy serve out the rest of this term, and he sucked.

The prospect of having another Clinton in the White House for another 8 years is unacceptable, and quite frankly I find it sickening. Not that Bill was not a far better President then either of the Bush's -- it is that when family dynasties alternate in having power, it inevitably becomes that which bears little resemblance to a democracy. Both families represent the interrests of corporations that are intent on maintaining their wealth, power, and control over the masses.

The lesser of two evils is still evil. We deserve better than this.

Peace!

The person who said that Clinton was a moderate REPUBLICAN is correct., just like Hillary., although I will vote for her if I must. Get over it people.,
none of them care about us nobodies., They just use us go get where they want to go and then discard us., for the most part. I don't see him living in Jersey City, and there are nice places here. No, his neighbor is the CEO of General Electric, for Pete's Sake. Get the picture. Hillary comes from "Leave it to Beaver", not East New York, Brooklyn, like I did as a child, with a single mom. Her mom did stay home and bake cookies. My mom worked her butt off and tried to keep us (brother and I and her) from being evicted for not paying rent, or wearing coats to bed because of no heat., or the lights turned off. that's the real world., for poor, no matter what color. No phone until I was 17. Big difference in understanding the "average" Joe.

<em>Never heard of a basketball player being called a ‘gridder”… those are ususally football players. Playing highschool basketball in the 30’s? If you graduated in 1940 at 18, that’d make you 85 today. Sumpin’ not right w/ this.

He would also have been drafted in WWII and likely not served in Korea at all. Oops. I think Jake's story just blew a leak.

We've also never heard Jake claim to have actually served in combat during the Korean War. If, in fact, he had a law degree, we can pretty well guarantee he was either serving with JAG, but most likely was banging a typewriter for the quartermaster back in Ft. Dix.

I don't care what the "fat boy" says. Saw him in person. Ain't handsome, and I was supporting him (1992), and didn't sense charisma. Guess he forgot to turn it on, as cameras had turned to Hillary. My husband got his autograph. So I saw him up close, and he acted very indifferent and cold.
While he pals around with the HAVE HAVE MOREs, as he now is, and obviously always wanted to be, I struggle as a social worker on peanuts to help out the poor elderly and mentally ill, that neither he nor his wife have hardly mentioned, let alone have visited. So let him go on OPRAh and preach about "giving." That's right Bill, tell you're golfing and fishing buddies to give some more, because we sure can use it. Including my husband on disability for mental illness, ...the pittance that it is -- and always being monitored to see if and when they could cut him off.

<em>Hey Maldriftt, have you ever tried the Czech Budweiser, I mean the real thing and not the crap they peddle here? Its good stuff though I dont think its available in the states.

It's sold in the US as Czechvar because they can't call it Budvar. I think it's now only sold in 12 oz green bottles, however, which means it can get skunked, like the PU often is.
