At the time, the U.S. acquiesced to Abdullah’s insistence on no women in the Air Traffic Control Tower or on the tarmac at the Waco Airport. Brown conveniently did not mention this, but instead delivered a gushing story on Abdullah. Very pleasing to her then-boyfriend, Al-Jubeir, I’m sure. Ditto for her friendly interviews with HAMAS leaders, recipients of a lot of cold, hard Saudi cash.

For those who are not familiar with Al-Jubeir, he went to high school part of the time in Texas and was most prominently seen defending Saudi Arabia everywhere in the media after 9/11.
