Grand Old Prosecutors.
In written answers to questions from the Senate Judiciary Committee, Bradley Schlozman, the former Justice Department official who headed the Civil Rights Division, “admitted that he’d once urged hiring certain prosecutors for his office based on their political affiliation. It’s against civil service laws to do so.” Today marked the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Civil Rights Division. For six years under the Bush administration, it has been the seat of corruption. Read more in today’s Progress Report. Bill Clinton left office with the US Treasury having a saving account of over 30 Billion dollars, today with the actions of Bush/Cheney for the past 6 1/2 years the US Treasury has a deficit of 9 TRILLION dollars. Notice how Americans have no problem with 9 TRILLION debt but are more then willing to give more to Iraq as needed. By 2009 when Bush leaves office the United States might have to ask Iraq to help us with our recession.
