Funny how that works with Bush himself, eh? He, Bremer, and Powell have all said that we’d leave Iraq if the Iraqis asked us to.

Did they say anything about the generals on the ground making that decision? No.

Did they say anything about Iraq falling into the hands of the terrorists? No.

Did they say the Iraqis would be defeatists and supporters of the enemy? No.

Did they say the Middle East would descend into chaos? No.

But Bush sure as hell screams all that shit when the Democrats or war protesters ask to bring the troops home.

Then you’ll be shunned by any patriot who read the transcript of osama’s video. Libs are falling all over themselves lately trying to be the most insistent in calling righties al quaida supporters. Having proof that osama agrees with you about what American policy should be really through ya for a loop, eh, bud? You must really be hoping that video turns out to be a fake so you can calm down a little. ;)

The disgraceful comments by Tom Lantos at the beginning of the hearing, only prove that he and most democrats have no intension of listening to what the General and the Ambassador have to say!
They’ve already made up their minds before hearing what these two honorable gentlemen have to say. Shame on you all – you should hang your heads with shame!

Please, when are you going to put your political ambitioins aside, and do what normal human beings do: listen, learn and make decisions from information provided you from people who are on the ground in Iraq – and not sitting on their duffs in Washington -
trying to figure out how you are going to get re-elected!!

By the way, letting ‘moveon.org’ run the way you think and speak
is laughable. Stop bowing down to them and letting them jerk you around and letting the New York Times publish their hate – and you not realizing it ultimately comes back on you all.

Stop worrying about getting re-elected in ‘08 – do your jobs, stop the hate and maybe we will re-elect you.

Muslims believe that Jesus was the third prophet of god. Mohammad being the first prophet, and I am unsure who the second prophet would have been. To equate Jesus as being Allah is incorrect.

I agree that anyone calling Sen. Obama is childish and offensive. However, I am unaware of any conservative organization closely affiliated with the Republican Party leadership taking a paid advertisement out in The New York Times and using that insult. If that happens, I will be the first to join with you in condemning such venom….Alas, MoveOn.org, a far-left group that works closely with the Democratic Party did indeed take an ad out today implying that Gen. Petraeus is a traitor. Shameful. And the Pelosis and Reids are the world should condemn it….We’ll see if they do.

On another important topic, I really need to have your Tigers step up and deprive the Yankees of a playoff spot! That would be sweet!

No dipstick, that means that Bush and crew have pretty much been suckered into what Osama wanted. It doesn’t take a genius to see that PNAC and others wanted a regime change in Iraq since well before 9/11, Osama probably figured, and rightly so, that the PNACers would jump at the chance for regime change. And they did.

And thats why if they would have stayed in Afghanistan and rooted out the problem IE OSAMA, instead of jumping finto Iraq for regime change and oil, we wouldn’t likely have this mess today.
