I didn't agree with the invasions before they happened, while they were happening nor do I agree today. I wasn't in the streets waving my flag then nor I am I now. Those thoughts have no bearing. What does have a bearing is the question of what will happen to the Sunni and Kurdish minorities should the troops be withdrawn. Trust that the Shi'a have not forgotten their oppressors. It will be the women and the children who will suffer the most. Genocide will follow. Bank on it. I find that the majority of people I talk to about this issue haven't the slightest clue of what it is I'm talking about. Our troops in the field do. That's why they do what they do. And, they do it freely.Stop to consider that the original enlistments of those who participated in the invasions have expired. They are now volunteers to the conflict. They are re-enlistments, retreads, and FNGs who said I'll go and I'll go again. They put themselves in harms way to protect the weak and their comrades in arms. To argue to withdraw them is to dishonor them. Those who advocate that path deny that our young men and women have no right to decide their fate nor the intelligence to do so. Those who advocate abandonment advocate GENOCIDE.Pity the reasons for going but pity more the reasons for staying. If you are really who you say you are, just listen to the reasons and see if any of them really make sense. See if any of them have facts, figures, or make logical sense.
