Remember, the Bush administration before 9/11 held only ONE cabinet-level counter-terrorism principals meeting (ONE WEEK before the 9/11 attacks)…as compared to the countless cabinet-level prinicpals meetings held in the first eight months of the Bush administration to discuss their planned attack against Iraq.

Oh well, I guess blind partisan party loyalty trumps everything, including remaining buddies with those in the Bush administration who directly contributed to getting their wife killed.

MAMOUN FANDY: Right, but this particular tape is not terribly inspiring, just looking at the language of it. This is the first tape of bin Laden that has no single verse from the Koran. It does not have the flowery language of Arabic.

It seems to me that it is written in English first, and then translated into Arabic. It is very western style of tape. It is not very characteristic of bin Laden, at least it tells me that the non-Arabic speaking within the al-Qaida network are taking over the organization –

Historians all agree that when Adolf Hitler attacked Soviet Union he sealed his own demise, especially after the military debacle at Stalingrad, so German soldiers were forced into full retreat and pushed back to Berlin.

President George W. Bush believes that Iran could be defeated easily, but the Iranians are brave people who will resist to the death like the Russians, plus they can counterattack with suicide hordes of troops into Iraq.

Dubya, like Napoleon and Hitler, could lose his entire army in the Middle East, therefore setting himself up for a Waterloo defeat and the end of the US Empire!

I have TP headlines on feed. Often it has news that other sites do not and that is very good.

I gave up reading comments. They are trite, people seem to post here to join in some kind of tit for tat fray that has little to do with the subject of the original.

Comes from both sides. Get recognition? If you want recognition, join in a sensible and reasonable debate or post some intelligent and preferably researched, post.

Those who engage in this adolescent behavior from both sides, those who feed the trolls instead of making a pertinant comment, have as much a problem as the trolls they love to fight.

I like the headlines and the TP reporting. I can’t stand reading the comments so, more often I just don’t bother. Waste of my time.

Listen…Its kinda quiet. I think TP has shut down the noisemaker. Email TP and create an ID with them. You can still accomplish an ID without having to give up your anonymity. Try it. If it doesn’t work, we could all work towards creating a _new_ site, capture the comments (enforcing rules against name-jackers and link back to TP stories from there).
