Fine. Let’s leave 9/11 out of it. Will that make a difference? I doubt it. Again, you don’t give a damn that somewhere along the history of the U.S. our government (at least once, maybe more) hatched a plan to attack its own people. It is part of the public record. And since you like throwing around names, you are a damn idiot for brushing it off as “dumb.” Doesn’t matter that it was 45 years ago…what should matter is that they were even considering it. Given Bush and Cheney’s power grab since 2000 (Cheney has specifically mentioned that the president isn’t powerful enough), the thoughts of what they are capable of doing, combined with the fact that the damned Republicans in Congress has almost consistently looked the other way since Bush was elected (and still do to this day), should scare most people shitless.
