8 years ago, I would have disagreed with McCain but have some respect for him as being a person who had principles. In short, someone I could have an honest discussion and honest disagreement with.

Today, that is totally lost. His mis-statements about his position on Iraq in the past, in this case his rather slimy statement about politicizing 9/11 and using it to cast mud at his oppponents, etc. etc. All of these have made me lose any respect I may have had for him. It also makes me wonder what kind of Machiavellan Prince he would be should he become prez.

WHAT “tradition” of depoliticizing 9/11? News to me. When we have the leading Republican candidate for president running on that one event, when the entire Republican National Convention in 2004 had “September 11″ banners on the stage, when Bush invokes 9/11 as a way to sell every stupid policy decision he’s ever made, I have a hard time swallowing the idea that there is some tradition associated with not politicizing it.

I am tired of Republicans and Democrats politicizing 9/11. I was at Ground Zero during the ceremony and noticed many people mourning, yet, once I returned home, you had Republicans and Democrats in the MSM politicizing this attack. It makes me feel like we, the American people, are being exploited for capital and personal gain. Why? Greed and supremacy. Also, my niece was killed in the attack. President Bush had numerous documents and countless Government and Foreign officials informing him that an attack was imminent. Yet, he never attempted to bolster domestic security. Each year he mourns as if he understands and has sympathy for the victims’ families. The President should apologize to America for his lack of urgency and promise that he will continue to implement security policies to protect this country. Until then, I believe that the President shouldn’t attend any 9/11 Memorial events until he apologizes. I DEMAND AN APOLOGY. I do not want to shake his hand nor do I want a hug. I want an apology and answers. It’s funny that all of the terrorists are being produced and trained from Afghanistan and Pakistan, yet we continue to resolve issues in Iraq. Why? Sometimes I feel like crying when I look at the President and both parties because I know they do not care about true Americans unless you are a CEO, muti-millionaire/billionaire, high official. Also, Democrats refuse to fight for us by debunking/prosecuting vile Republicans/Democrats. I cry because the future of America is doomed. I’m tired. Somebody help!!!
