Would you care to define what “victory” for the Iraqi people looks like? According to them, victory would be the United States leaving their country. The last poll of the people in Iraq showed something like 68% saying that our presence there is making them less safe. Or perhaps victory is having clean drinking water and electricity for more than a few hours a day. We’ve done a bang up job on that one.

You also don’t care one bit about our troops since you want to keep them there, sitting in the middle of a civil war where they don’t know who is the enemy and who is their friend. I wish there was some way you could be transported to Iraq, outside the green zone, for just one day. My bet is that you would change your tune very quickly.
