Assume that there were three meals/day, and two snacks-- average for a business convention. So that's 3.25/5=$650 per meal or snack break. Now take into account the number of people attending-- 1,542. So that's 650/1542=42 cents/per person per meal. Assume everyone got a cookie and a brownie-- so that's 21 cents per cookie or brownie. Which is cheap compared to what you pick up in the mall, and really cheap compared to average catering costs. 13k for 1.5k over 4 days isn’t that bad, actually.
