As I understand it, the title of Krugman's Blog is also the title of his new book. If its anything like his last book, "The Great Unraveling" it should be a damm fine read.
I echo Jack's comments on Mr. Krugman BTW. He calls em' as he sees em' and makes a habit of calling bullshit when he sees it. Would that the other so-called "Progressive" columnists had that kind of backbone and cojones.

Give me a break. Krugman has been about the only pundit in the entire mainstream media to have been correct about everything during the Bush era. He correctly pointed out that Bush's tax cuts would heavily favor the wealthy. He was one of the few pundits arguing against the invasion of Iraq. He's one of the only pundits consitently laying out the facts on healthcare and he's been extremely critical of Greenspan, calling him extremely political.

Paul Krugman is a great American.

If you want a pundit who ignores the truth, Krugman's your man. Like most, he fails to discuss what Greenscum said, i.e. 'the Iraq war is "largely about oil" and won't ever talk about WHY we have to steal control of Iraq's oil. Realizing that admitting we went there for the oil---what other POSSIBLE reason can there have been?---also means admitting that we are coveting, lying, murdering thieves, and of course that won't do, will it?

I used to read Krugman all the time, but he is not a real truth teller, just a small time scold, and I take issue with his aloofness that gets you only a "sorry, but you're not important enough to me for your letter to require any reply from me, or even the knowledge that I read it," email generated by a machine. I take the position that if Krugman isn't going to listen to me or anyone else who MIGHT have something pertinent to offer, then I don't intend to listen to him any longer either, and I haven't.

<em>I’ll give Krugman’s blog about 1 Freidman Unit of life.

My mommy says, "If you can't say something nice, just hush up!"

I like Krugman's analysis. I'm glad I can go direct to the NYT for his column AND BLOG, instead of finding another site who posted it for free.

I am celebrating the NYT releasing their columnists from their pay-to-read firewall.
Now that he has a blog, there will be even more to enjoy and learn.

Krugman makes more sense than a whole network of Wall Street cheerleaders that try to pass themselves off as economists.

No one's perfect, but Krugman rocks it hard, and he's a tremendously influential and for the most part progressive voice in the national debate. The fact that he's now blogging is a credit to him, and a credit to the blogosphere. If you think he's wrong, tell him- he responds to (non-troll) comments.

Your attempt at discrediting Mr. Krugman is feeble.

In very basic terms there is a method of detecting B.S., I call it the "walks like, talks like" phenomenon.

For Example, Dubya and his shills yelling from the rafters that the war is going just fine, the "walk like..." factor tells me they are lying. They have been selling this same crap since back when that old man Donald Rumsfeld said we'd be in Iraq for a period of weeks or months but certainly not years.... yeah whatever, sell crazy somewhere else.

Now, as for Krugmans assertion that there is economic inequality in this country, well I live paycheck to paycheck and my paycheck is buying less and less. This certainly is not the country I grew up in either. More and more working class people are being shoved to the fringes of our society and the "walks like..." factor tells me he's right.

So point out every wrong prediction he has made until your hearts content, it's just sour grapes that someone is telling it like it is for the unwashed masses of peons.

By the way if you watched 60 minutes last weekend you would have discovered that Greenspan, that bastion of Conservatism isn't right all the time either.
