Rostenkowski was indicted and went to jail DURING Bill Clinton’s administration. Clinton did pardon Rostenkowski AFTER Rostenkowski had served his full sentence.

Absolutely, missmolly. John McKay’s brother Mike was also USA for the western district of WA. Both men served honorably. BTW, Paul Charlton, fired USA from AZ, was also honored in ‘07 for outstanding contributions to the legal profession by the AZ Bar Association.

They sure as hell fired some good people in what appears to be a political purge/vendetta following last November’s election.

I’m glad John McKay was honored. He’s a good man who’s respected by Democrats and Republicans alike for his integrity, honesty, and competance. He did not deserve to be fired.

One syllable words might help.

Clinton selected the best attorneys regardless of political affiliation and did so in a way that other Presidents before him have done.

Bush selected attorneys solely for political gain with total disregard for the previous attorney’s abilities (hence the award from the state Bar Association to Mr. McKay) soley to manipulate the legal process.

damn… sorry, couldn’t explain in one syllable words… maybe that explains why they never change their minds…..
