Too bad - I was going to try to explain to him that melting ocean ice doesn't contribute to sea level rise - only glacial and icecap melting does that. The grapes could be moved north--if similar topography could be found, and you could buy it--not to mention selling the old laand for a decent price. But this would cost millions of dollars for even a small vinyard, and take years to accomplish. A profit center goes away. It's not just the disaster movie stuff: it's people's businesses being ruined, it's the economy being savaged. eveen if people aren't runiing screaming from giant tornadoes and tidal waves,people get poorer, businesses fail, opportunities shrink. If The USA starts to resemble the land of Mexico more and more, more and more we'll become Canada's Mexicans. A pretty prospect, no? Actually, squiggy’s fatuous question points something out.
