If you are a Baby Boomer, wouldn't you much rather pay taxes and contribute younger family members (who may become disabled and/or die) to destroy other countries and work three jobs until you drop to show everyone what a proud, patriotic 'Mercun (MARE-cun in bushspeak) you are. And once your health declines to the point that you are physically unable to work, your children and grandchildren would love nothing better than to work multiple jobs to pay the interest on the national debt, support their own families and you as well (which includes healthcare, since the guv-ment won't be helping to finance it anymore, since that would smack of socialism). If you are among the younger generations, doesn't this seem like a small price to pay to ensure that every other country in the world will fear us? Quaint terms such as "independence", "freedom", "liberty", will assume an Orwellian cast, in practice meaning the opposite of what they did almost to the close of the 20th century. But you and your families can continue to sacrifice with blood, sweat and tears to support these concepts anyway, no matter how anachronistic they may become. Remember when George W.
