FBI sending investigators to Iraq to probe Blackwater.»

“Amid questions of reckless behavior by U.S contractors, the FBI is sending a team to Iraq to investigate the role of Blackwater USA in last month’s shoot-out in Baghdad that killed 11 Iraqis,” the AP reports. The agency is “making the move at the request of the State Department…to pursue possible criminal charges in light of allegations that guards working for Blackwater might have shot innocent Iraqi citizens.”

It’s about damn time! And then we wonder why this country has no credibility - even with it’s citizens. Of course, we can expect that this will be another “faux investigation” - part & parcel of the Bush Crime Cabal. Just like his false canards, staged PR events, and false flag operations…ho-hum….how transparent can they get?

“Probe”? Surely you meant to say whitewash.

    lol… why?

Good luck proving that Blackwater broke any laws, since the laws that should have governed their behavior were effectively suspended by the Occupation Government.

    Well, that’s a relief…

  6. Rebel in CA Says:

I will lay 10:1 odds that FBI will find Blackwater not guilty of firing first in 84% of the deadly incidents they have been involved in.

In fact these “phoney soldiers” will be guests on the Rusty Limpballs show.

The FBI should be going directly to the State Department to determine who, specifically, has been helping to cover up Blackwater’s misdeeds. Look into who was closest to Cofer Black when he was in the State Department, as well as who worked with him most closely at CIA (possibly the same individual(s).

Let’s see didn’t the Head of the FBI just lie under oath during a hearing and now we are to trust this group to investagate Blackwater Killers. Nothing will result from
this as the Iraqi will have to just charge Blackwater with the murders they’ve done since the invasion. Connie Rice did her best at covering up the murders over the years. To think the US offered these people milions of dollars for the murder of their family yet some Iraq people wouldn’t take the blood money.
Unlike our GOP who smile and take the blood money and ask for more.

“Blackwater contractor Darren Hanner drafted the two-page spot report on the letterhead of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security for the embassy’s Tactical Operations Center, said a source involved in diplomatic security at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.

Hanner, listed on the report as the center’s watch officer, was working for Blackwater at the time the report was written — just after the shooting occurred, said a highly placed industry source. He was to rotate out of Iraq last week, the source said.”

I think blackwater needs to get their own letterhead paper and quit trying to represent something they’re not.

Why does the FBI need to ’send agents to Iraq’? They already have an agency in Baghdad. Maybe their travel agent needs more kickbacks, um, no, miles?
