BagLady - but not so loathed as the Congress…why aren’t these sissies standing up and doing anything but giving lip service to all these issues. Do they think we really care about what Rush Limbaugh said, when there are real issues they are NOT ADDRESSING!!
Comment by Rastamon — October 3, 2007 @ 10:53 am

Rastamon, I totally agree. It’s more of a nut house than the white house. Such poor examples these idiots are displaying for our future leaders, our children and youth, who are listening and watching. This idiot and his cohorts are running this country into the ground. This is the worst, most selfish, and the greediest administration ever! The entire lot of them! We need to have another Tea Party, only this time we toss the crooked politicians into the waters and keep the tea. Some of these politicians have been in office so long until they think they are entitled to
the positions they've held for so long. There should be a term limit. When the outgoing president leaves, whether it's after four years or eight years, when he or she leaves, the rest of them should be required to vacate as well.

W wants to hide his daddy’s huge role in selling arms illegally to Iran and the illegal arming of the terrorist Contras. It was in Ollie North’s diary that the Contras were bringing tons of cocaine into the US.

Also maybe GHWB’s role in October Surprise—the deal with Iran not to release American hostages as long as Carter is president.

Also Iraqgate—the illegal transfer of $5 billion in credits to Saddam during GHWB.

Also W and dad’s involvement with BCCI, the bank of terrorists and drug runners.

Also the ties to bin Laden and al Qaeda under Reagan and GHWB.

Maybe Pakistan’s role in 9/11.

RE: above: Keith, you sure said a mouthful there! You managed to take me back down Memory Lane with your post. Bob Hope"s "Thanks For the Memories" song comes to mind Thank you for your post. We all need to revisit things of this nature as reminders of the dark periods of deceit and corruption perpetrated upon the citizens of this country by a few people elected or installed into political offices. This has been the LONGEST 8 years of any presidency, and it still isn't over. I marvel at the fact that we still have about FIFTEEN MORE MONTHS left on that man's term before he leaves. It's a term for him, but it feels like a sentence to me, doing time until 2009

Marie: G’evening to ya! I think Bush has already invalidated his presidency with stealing the elections and now being the most loathed executive ever by his own people. I’d say he’s pretty washed up at this point.

I agree totally. I live in Florida and voted in one of the precincts that had 27,000 of its ballots thrown out. The "powers that be" did all they could to make sure this idiot was installed into the position of president.

I have been saying for sometime that we have to start undoing every illegal thing that Bush has done from the beginning of his Administration and finally someone is doing it. This was one of the first executives oders W issued when he gained office, overturning a law passed by the Senate setting a 12 (?)year buffer between a president leaving office and his papers becoming open historical records.

Invalided means to incapacitate physically, perhaps invalidated, but, why proof read things that way you can make things up as you go along.

I don't think the president has enough "Political Capital" to see this all the way thru. Although he may be really wanting this it may be too steep of a hill to climb at this time.

W wants to hide his daddy's huge role in selling arms illegally to Iran and the illegal arming of the terrorist Contras. It was in Ollie North's diary that the Contras were bringing tons of cocaine into the US.

Also maybe GHWB's role in October Surprise---the deal with Iran not to release American hostages as long as Carter is president.

Also Iraqgate---the illegal transfer of $5 billion in credits to Saddam during GHWB.

Also W and dad's involvement with BCCI, the bank of terrorists and drug runners.

Also the ties to bin Laden and al Qaeda under Reagan and GHWB.

Maybe Pakistan's role in 9/11.

From the article:
The National Security Archive, a private group advocating public disclosure of government secrets, is awaiting the release of records that are being reviewed by former President Reagan's representatives.

As I have often pointed out on these threads, Reagan is dead. How can he object to the release of his presidential records?

Besides that, Bush is going to have to worry about this part of his EO being struck down, because he hid his records as Texas Governor in his daddy's library. His father may not be allowed to deny access to them. Oh, the crimes we could learn about in those records. And before anybody defends him, if he did nothing wrong, he's got nothing to hide. Right?

Marie: G'evening to ya! I think Bush has already invalidated his presidency with stealing the elections and now being the most loathed executive ever by his own people. I'd say he's pretty washed up at this point.
