Don’t look for the repukians to override his veto, they only signed it to look like they are honest (cough) now, after he vetos it, they will simply turn tail and now vote on an override.

I welcome another Bush veto or signing statement. It is high time that these policies of this administration be exposed as against the American people’s wants and needs. So, Veto Away (override big time, and get it in the news cycle another round) or Signing Statement Away (and expose that for the unconstitutional action that it is). I hope that this bill and the SCHIP vetoes give the Democrats some spine on the harder issues like Iraq, which is so frustrating for not being at the forefront. Come on in to the popular pool, Democrats — the American public has been way out in front of the politicians!
