The same can be said regarding the amendment denouncing the MoveOn ad.

Maybe you would be so kind to explain how the issues raised in the ad directly result in, as the Rightwingers claim, charges of treason against Patraeus. I’ve been asking for days, on various threads, for the pro-amendment folks to explain this, and to discuss the issues raised in the ad, and nobody wants to bother. It is much easier to throw around the word “smear” because it doesn’t require much effort or thought. You may also want to take into consideration the other definitions of “betray,” as most people cherry-pick the one that references treason.
