How about the righteousness of the supplicants? Are positive prayers answered more frequently than negative ones? Does God take the positive ones and Satan the negative? Does the intensity of the praying have any effect on the outcome? Does the length of time one devotes to praying have any effect on the frequency with which one’s prayers are answered? Do the words and phrases used in the prayer — either positive or negative — have any bearing on the success rate? 40 percent of Democrats did pray for Bush, however you should rethink your communal position because many Russians were communist, which BTW has nothing to do with a belief in a GOD.

Yeh, I know, Coulter and the Pundits want people to think ALL communists are Godless pagans that dance around fires and cast spells.. I am a Christian but I sure as heck dont agree with what the [mostly elected] Republican party of corruption and amoral behavior and fiscal irresponsibility has become. As well you should know that conservative does NOT mean one believes in God either, hafl the conservative writers do not.

And the number of people that do pray for Bush does not reflect the number of religious people. I, for one, don’t pray for him as I think he uses religion for his politics.

Sorrry to inform you scytherius, but prayer is for those of us who need it. Somehow, it prevents us from doing less harm than otherwise we would do if left to our our own recourse. Cynics will say, and I respect that, it is like talking to the “fairy bearded guy in the sky”. Whatever, even if you hate what Pres. Bush has done, praying for him makes you a better person. Think about it!
