The Bible says thou shalt not kill yet Bush has no problem sending troops to Iraq. Soldiers are dying in Iraq don’t you want to save them too? They are certainly more important that fetuses or embryonic stem cells in a petri dish. Don’t you want to save any Americans who might die in a potential war with Iran? How about the Iraqi civilians dying everyday?

Abortion, and homosexuality, are squarely part of the culture of death. Partial birth abortion has to be one of the most barbaric practices in the history of the world.

Of course, there was this time when the ancient Hebrews were offering their children as sacrifices – while the child was alive.

Abortion makes the nation less worth preserving.

Saying that expressing your rights includes destroying your unborn seems a particular deceptive lie…at least to me.

God creates life, and invites people to participate in creation by having children (Genesis 1:28), but in the 21st century U.S. we say, “Abortion,.., it is every woman’s right.”

And apparently ends at birth for those on the right.

Why else would you stop caring about the child after they are born? When Pres. Bush vetoed the SCHIP, he basically said “I don’t care about children that have been successfully born!”

My beef is with the hypocrites in the Republican party (and like you, Johnny Swank) – they are the ones having hot monkey sex with underage pages and in public bathroom stalls – and all the while proclaiming that the rest of us *must* practice “Christian” fundamentalist values and abstain from sex – all sex except the man/woman variety – unless we’re married. Oh, and spending our tax dollars to promote that very same set of “Christian” fundamentalist values to our kids.

Well. Christ is quoted in Matthew 19, where he alludes to Genesis, that the Creator intended that there human sexual expression to be one man one woman.

If you have better advice than this why don’t you present it?

Of course, one has to believe in God the Creator and Jesus Christ the Son of God to value advice from the Bible.

Based on your response I believe I would prefer Johnny Swank making the morality rules.
