True American heroes, one and all! They stand tall against their weak-willed traitorous colleagues. I pray for the Judgement Day in America, that is coming for these murderous war criminals.

This will become the evidence the people will need when they go to the polls in 08.
Comment by Veritas — October 10, 2007 @ 4:13 pm

You said it. And, it can also be a GREAT list to use to call your Congressperson if she/he voted FOR the debacle and REMIND them of the ERROR OF THEIR WAYS!

P.S. I can’t find Hillary Clinton (yea vote) or Russ Feingold (nay vote) on this list. Perhaps some of it was inadvertently omitted?

Comment by Veritas — October 10, 2007 @ 4:14 pm

This is a House vote, and Clinton and Feingold are both Senators.

I predict that, if Hillary becomes the nominee, she will immediately be discredited by a hate campaign the likes of which this country has never seen: 1) because she's a woman 2) because she's an intelligent, well-informed woman and 3) because she still has unresolved allegations and issues which can otherwise haunt, taunt, and destroy her chances of winning.

If this occurs: Enter Michael Bloomberg! It's the same on the other side of the fence which is precisely why the two party system is antiquated and archaic. The right will run their own indpendent candidate because there's a significant portion of registered repukes who can't stand any of the candidates on their side right now.

This campaign season promises to be perhaps the most exciting in our lifetime. It may signal the demise of our 2 party system at last.
With 35-37% americans now registered as "Independents", it's clear that none of the candidates and neither party is representing them.

It will either be another Boston Tea Party (Taxation without representation) or a Three Party system on the horizon.

We all love and support our rep. BAGDAD JIM McDERMOTT, he got it right and the Repukian Fascist Smear Machine tried their best to destroy him, his approval rating is 84% in West Seattle.
Thank You Jim for being right and sticking to your guns.

witch1: The media whores are pushing Hillary to the front of the line. There's absolutely nothing the reichwingnuts would love better than for Hillary to become the "nominee" because they will swiftboat her from here to kingdom come (it's already in the words, trust me). They know she will be an easy target to smear with her skeletons still sitting in her closet. Don't you think that they've given Hillary pretty much of a "cake walk"? Doesn't this seem highly unusual that there's not even a whisper of scandal coming from the right? Forewarned is forearmed.

The silence of the right is deafening; it's all synchronized to remain mute about Hillary and when/if she becomes the nominee, whammo!
Their new hate tactics will make swiftboating look like a day of waterskiing!

Beware the silence of the right. Beware the silence of the media whores. Beneath the silence is the ruminating sounds of a blood thirsty group of elite criminals - getting ready to pounce!

David Bonoir (my rep at the time) voted no, and they redrew the district to eliminate his seat. Candice Miller(R), a Bush sycophant now holds his former seat.

Rowdy: The list is inclusive - it's the total roll call for yeas and nays. Somehow I can't locate Clinton or Feingold and I know they both voted.

P.S. I can't find Hillary Clinton (yea vote) or Russ Feingold (nay vote) on this list. Perhaps some of it was inadvertently omitted?

Thanks for this list, TP. Good work. This will become the evidence the people will need when they go to the polls in 08. These individuals deserve a vote of confidence *unless they've sullied themselves in some other debacle or debouchery since then*.

I find the "yea" vote from Waxman and Murtha disconcerting, however.

Good to see so many of us agree about Kucenich, wish the rest of our country did...It pisses me off that we are a year away from voting and the media has Hillery the winner....This kind of crap is why to many people don't even want to vote......Blessings

Presidents have gotten around that pesky little constitutional requirement by not calling them “wars”.

Not our current corrupt, crooked president. He is our WAR president, remember? He LOVES being unconstitutional!

So the part of the U. S. Constitution that says “only Congress shall declare war” no longer applies Republican Presidents or GOP wannabes…
