Carbon emissions are down in the U.S. Global Warming is countered by scientific fact again and again, and Gore's response, Global Warming. There is no scientific fact to support Global Warming, only rhetoric. Has anyone seen Gore's statistics? He shows how temperature matches carbon in the atmosphere, and how it has done so through history. That is all well and fine, unless you look at his numbers for current carbon emissions. On his graph he shows in his power point, carbon emissions have been skyrocketing over the past century and will continue to do so, but he conveniently leaves out the temperature. If you continue the temperature climb at a rate equal to carbon emissions according to the graph, it is currently far hotter than it really is, and in about a decade, we'll be facing record temperatures of 250°-300°F. This is both unlikely and not very logical. If even Al Gore himself shows that Global Warming is a joke, then everyone should do what they did in the past when he was talking. Believe his statistics everyone! Is it not obvious that you can step outside and experience 150°F temperatures? Make your own choice, but please, for the sake of the world, take this into account. I beg to differ. War critics THOUGHT that the war would turn into a Quagmire. The reasons for this position were well stated by Cheney himself after the first Iraq War.

The Neocons THOUGHT that the Iraqis would treat Americans as liberators, and Iraqi oil would pay for the war. Chalibi and the Iraqi Exiles promoted this argument.

Iraq under Sadaam was a brutal dictatorship. No one really could know how the Iraqi people felt, because expressing an opinion was very dangerous.

BUT…not having a PLAN for a worst case scenario was entirely Bush’s fault. Not letting Hans Blix complete his job was Bush’s fault.

That’s where the lethal incompetence occured.
