The AP reports, “Republican White House candidates pounded Iran Tuesday, with Rudolph Giuliani warning of a military strike to deprive it of a nuclear bomb, and a top rival lashing ‘terror masters’ in Tehran.” Giuliani said, “If I am president of the United States, I guarantee you, we will never find out what they will do if they get nuclear weapons, because they are not going to get a nuclear weapon.”
GOP candidates should be spending more time putting time and distacne between them and the neocons that have destroyed the Republican Party. GOP candidates will have a hard time convincing America that Republicans are the right ones to fix the Republican mess they made.
October 16th, 2007 at 6:23 pmThe White House’s propaganda campaign laying the groundwork for military action against Iran dates back almost six years—to Bush’s 2002 State of the Union address in which he designated Iran as a founding member of the “axis of evil.†Since then, this drumbeat has waxed and waned as other concerns—primarily the disastrous invasion and occupation of Iraq—have often commanded center stage. Now, with the Bush administration approaching its final year in office, a renewed push and a shorter fuse are increasingly evident. My new 3-minute video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLioyP69N3I) entitled “Forewarned Is Forearmed: Bush On Iran†offers a very brief but deeply troubling chronicle of the president’s public warmongering and demonization of Iran. As has been said before, “the hour is getting late.â€
October 16th, 2007 at 6:26 pmNo need to worry as none of them will be President.
Rudy can go home and look for aliens to attack. Mitt’
can look into what went wrong and how he can
stop the Romney curse. Fred is already gone it’s just his body still in the campaign. McCain will start
sucking up to the people of his State since he
hasn’t represented their interest in 7 years.
Rudy might start a company and hire the little
October 16th, 2007 at 6:27 pmgreen men, he’ll save on Health Care Insurance anyway.

Aaeeaeeaaaaah.
October 16th, 2007 at 6:30 pmJulieAnnie would look cute in that little leather thongy thing Johnny Weismuller wore.
All they got is war. Nothing helpful, nothing hopeful – just war. Does Rudy honestly believe that he will be elected by promising to invade everybody except the Salvation Army?
October 16th, 2007 at 6:33 pmrudy’s a pussy, a bully and a coward.
October 16th, 2007 at 6:34 pmAnd for those righties who will hold their nose and vote for him, because they think he can win “blue” states over Hillary, check out Rasmussen (the gop’s favorite pollster) New Jersey: Clinton has an 11 point lead over rudy.
I swear these guys must have the smallest dicks in the world cause they sure talk a lot ;of shit about Iran. I wonder do they even consider what the response from Russia or China will be once we attack unprovoked. Like the rest of fthe world that already views the US as the agressor will just silently sit back and watch us start another war and destabilize the middle east even more than it is already. These guys have no idea what it means to be a leader let alone a president.

Cheerleaders, baton twirlers, they march ever onward, unseeing, over the effing cliff.
October 16th, 2007 at 6:36 pmFor Mitt Romney’s hysterics against Iran and all other Muslim groups, see:
October 16th, 2007 at 6:45 pm“Romney Conflates All Muslims in New Ad.”
I don’t understand why the Republican candidates don’t get it. America is tired of endless war and they are no longer buying the lies. Bush had to switch his emphasis on Iran from WMD’s to Iran meddling in Iraq because America isn’t buying it that we have to do something TODAY about the possibility that Iran will have a bomb in 10 years. And I also think that most American’s realize that this nuclear bomb thing is really a red herring. Who are we to tell Iran they can’t have a bomb when Israel has one. Iran has the right to defend themselves from Israeli aggression by having a Nuclear bomb. Israel says they have a bomb as a deterrent from another nation attacking them. Well why can’t Iran do the same? I think it’s more likely that Israel attack Iran than it is for Iran to attack Israel.

Nothing like an ugly little man with a lisp , believing himself to be some sort of a threatening bad-ass ……..
Did Fruity Rudy and Chimpy the Wonder Monkey attend the same GOP pseudo-tough guy talking seminar ?
October 16th, 2007 at 6:49 pmHasn’t anyone told these jackasses that we’re broke and our military is worn down? I guess I shouldn’t expect more from criminals and cowards.
October 16th, 2007 at 6:51 pm9: Just to continue your point. Maybe, rudy and the seven dwarves would like to invade Pakistan, a muslim country with a nuclear bomb; or how about India, who has the world’s third largest muslim population; they have the bomb, too.
October 16th, 2007 at 6:53 pmHow about he bomb the US? It is an agressor nation, has a lot of Muslims and a sh!tload of nukes?
October 16th, 2007 at 6:55 pmAccording to the reich-wing, the US murders and invades “justly†and “democraticallyâ€.
OHHH, My Bad! I guess I missed that BushCo Indoctrination program. Think I can still get in one? Gotta get all the “Rieich-Wing” answers so I can be as smart and informed as the troll on here.
October 16th, 2007 at 7:01 pmThe Twin Towers were in NYC and therefore Rudy qualifies to be President? He’s basically running on 9/11, but how does that make him better qualified?
October 16th, 2007 at 7:15 pmHas anyone ever gone from Mayor to President?

Yeah ……..The former Mayor McCheese is currently the US president ; or something equally silly and stupid ………..
October 16th, 2007 at 7:23 pmRudy, McCain, and the other hawks would do well to listen to Putin’s comments today. He basically said, “hands off, Iran, and if you attack them, I can always provide them with ready-made nuclear weapons.” What’s Rudy gonna do then, attack Russia?
October 16th, 2007 at 7:39 pmBadmoodman,
Another failure you can lay at the feet of Bush, it looks like Russia and Iran are united against America. Bush has officially rekindled the Cold War. Want to sacrifice 150,000 American soldiers in Iraq? Bomb Iran and kiss their asses goodbye.
I guess it’s true that Bush is a uniter not a divider, he has successfully united most of the planet against the USA. What a fcking loser.
October 16th, 2007 at 7:47 pmGeorge said the same about Kim Jong and nukes. Why would anyone believe a Republican, they lie about everything and smear 12 year old Americans.
October 16th, 2007 at 8:27 pmLooks like the war party did not learn their lesson yet.
October 16th, 2007 at 8:43 pmWhile we are stuck in two bloody wars in two big countries for so many years with thousands of lost lives and huge dollar bill, Giuliani’s bravado meant to tell us that he will not hesitate to pull the trigger to start another bigger and more bloody war with Iran.
Clinton would use violence against Tehran

Hillary Clinton today moved to secure her position as the most hawkish Democrat in the 2008 presidential race, saying she would consider the use of force to compel Iran to abandon its nuclear programme.
In an article for Foreign Affairs magazine intended as a blueprint for the foreign policy of a future Clinton White House, the Democratic frontrunner argues that Iran poses a long term strategic challenge to American and its allies, and that it must not be permitted to build or acquire nuclear weapons.
“If Iran does not comply with its own commitments and the will of the international community, all options must remain on the table,” Ms Clinton said.

Any doubts still there that AIPAC runs the US government regardless of who is president?
October 16th, 2007 at 11:41 pm‘And if the people of this country are gullible enough to elect me president, I promise you I will continue to ignore reality, do nothing against the real threats confronting us, give sweetheart no-bid deals to irresponsible companies, and never get the critical equipment that our emergency personnel need, no matter how many die as a result!’

I guarantee you, we will never find out what they will do if they get nuclear weapons, because they are not going to get a nuclear weapon.â€
But before he attacks Iran, Rudy needs to make sure that their armed forces are using defective Motorola radios just like the ones he purchased for the NYFD and ended up causing the death of 100 firemen.

This is deja vu all over again. Iraq did not have any WMD, Let in the weapons inspectors to prove they didn’t have any WMD, Turned over a 20,000 page document telling what they did with 1980″s WMD. Security Council 11-4 opposed to invasion. And look what happened to Iraq. Thirty per cent of their population either dead or refugee. Now world’s #2 failed state. One in eight children die before age of five. 50% unemployment. 80% of professionals have fled the country. Top western oil corps ready to take their $20 Trillion oil reserves.
And now we are going to do it all over again with Iran?!? This is madness. The region has already become chaos. What do we think bombing Iran is going to do? Impeach Bush and Cheney NOW before this starts!!!
October 17th, 2007 at 4:01 amNice quote exley, im not particulat enthused about hilary myself, but question is, will hill-rah go as far in acting on the stupid things that she says as dumbya will? not likely.. its like the difference between talking about killing someone and actually doing it.. big difference..
October 17th, 2007 at 7:25 amI just can’t help — every time Rudy opens his mouth, I keep picturing him in his “drag” attire — blond hair, ruby red lips and long gown with Trump nuzzling his neck.
Dame Rudy — is she separated at birth from Dame Edna? There seems to be “geneial” connection there.
