GOP candidates chest-thump on Iran rhetoric.
The AP reports, “Republican White House candidates pounded Iran Tuesday, with Rudolph Giuliani warning of a military strike to deprive it of a nuclear bomb, and a top rival lashing ‘terror masters’ in Tehran.” Giuliani said, “If I am president of the United States, I guarantee you, we will never find out what they will do if they get nuclear weapons, because they are not going to get a nuclear weapon.”

I don’t understand why the Republican candidates don’t get it. America is tired of endless war and they are no longer buying the lies. Bush had to switch his emphasis on Iran from WMD’s to Iran meddling in Iraq because America isn’t buying it that we have to do something TODAY about the possibility that Iran will have a bomb in 10 years. And I also think that most American’s realize that this nuclear bomb thing is really a red herring. Who are we to tell Iran they can’t have a bomb when Israel has one. Iran has the right to defend themselves from Israeli aggression by having a Nuclear bomb. Israel says they have a bomb as a deterrent from another nation attacking them. Well why can’t Iran do the same? I think it’s more likely that Israel attack Iran than it is for Iran to attack Israel.

Hillary Clinton today moved to secure her position as the most hawkish Democrat in the 2008 presidential race, saying she would consider the use of force to compel Iran to abandon its nuclear programme.
In an article for Foreign Affairs magazine intended as a blueprint for the foreign policy of a future Clinton White House, the Democratic frontrunner argues that Iran poses a long term strategic challenge to American and its allies, and that it must not be permitted to build or acquire nuclear weapons.
“If Iran does not comply with its own commitments and the will of the international community, all options must remain on the table,” Ms Clinton said.

This is deja vu all over again. Iraq did not have any WMD, Let in the weapons inspectors to prove they didn’t have any WMD, Turned over a 20,000 page document telling what they did with 1980″s WMD. Security Council 11-4 opposed to invasion. And look what happened to Iraq. Thirty per cent of their population either dead or refugee. Now world’s #2 failed state. One in eight children die before age of five. 50% unemployment. 80% of professionals have fled the country. Top western oil corps ready to take their $20 Trillion oil reserves.
And now we are going to do it all over again with Iran?!? This is madness. The region has already become chaos. What do we think bombing Iran is going to do? Impeach Bush and Cheney NOW before this starts!!!
