Marine chief: We are overstretched by Iraq war.

Commandant Gen. James Conway said yesterday that “he is concerned about the Marines Corps’ ability to respond to security flare-ups around the world” because of “the demands put on it by the Iraq war.” “I’m a little bit concerned about us keeping our expeditionary flavor. … We are much heavier than ever before,” he said. Conway’s comments come after The New York Times reported last week that Marine officials are pushing to redeploy their forces to Afghanistan to relieve these burdens.

Digg It!

And when GW666 attacks Iran anyway, and the rest of the World decides that we are the Rouge State that needs to be dealt with, where will our forces be? Oh, yeah everywhere but where they need to be, that makes sense.

We used to convict War Criminals, now we Embrase them, or at least the War Mongering Brownshirt Lemming Neanderthals do.

Other free nations to U.S.: “You broke it, you bought it. We told you that unilateral invasion of Iraq would increase the number of terrorists, undercut US influence in the region, and diminish US legitimacy in the world affairs. Don’t come crying to us, ya willfully ignorant, reflexively belligerent dumbass.”

Gen. Conway is the senior most ranking General in the United States Marine Corp. Care to rethink your opinion, or are you going to keep your head in the sand.
