Bigfoot, you can go f@ck yourself. This is your country as much as Germany was the country of Hitler's thugs, who like your ilk, bullied, threatened, and terrorized thier way into control. You dont own this country, you hijacked it, with the help of 19 brown folks and thier boxcutters.

And I promise you something, before I leave this earth, I'm going to make sure that many, many of the totalitarian constitution shredders you worship will be exposed, sued, and/or in jail. I'm going to do more for my cause than sit on a keyboard arguing all day. Every arrogant, ignorant word that comes out of the deluded lips of inbred, xenophobic, flaghumping jingoistic trash like yourself and YOUR president makes me ever more determined to show the world what scum people like you and everyone you support are. So thanks for the motivation...

So every act of corporate negligence, poisoning, poor standards, fake labels, roads, infrastructure, schools, all require the military? That’s ridiculous!

Comment by republicans hate facts

How could you post what I said and then immediately post something like this? It was right there in your face...

You ENFORCE by sending in TROOPS just like George Washington did with the whisky rebellion and as was done during the Civil War… and as was done during the Civil Rights era… of coarse you dont have to jump straight to that but if things got bad enough the precendence is there to do exactly that. Comment by ggibson1

Come on... you are no better than one of the lame trolls...

Or are you THAT desperate to try to make Ron Paul seem crazy?

The federal government can go as far as it needs to for ensuring the continued existance of the nation (civil war) and to enforce the Constitution. If a company is poisoning us then you send in the Executive to enforce the laws. You can do anything UP TO force as long as the executive does not violate the Constitution while doing so.

People that opine about returning to the ORIGINAL constitution don’t want the civilization that is reflected in the amendments and context that is placed on a modern civilized world!

Another straw man...

ok ... you had a few chances .. you get what I am saying and you are not even trying so...

Yeah, because we still have slaves, and sell women as a standard practice today! Catch a clue!

Oh how enlightened of you... yes you are correct... the great acts of history NEVER repeat themselves... all Shakespearian tragedies are only left overs of the period before the 20th century... humans are beyond that now... I am sure the Iraqis agree...

Sorry but it is! One major part of the Libertarian plan is deregulation, how exactly are you supposed to ENFORCE when you don’t REGULATE?

#1 Who cares about libertarians?

#2 You ENFORCE by sending in TROOPS just like George Washington did with the whisky rebellion and as was done during the Civil War... and as was done during the Civil Rights era... of coarse you dont have to jump straight to that but if things got bad enough the precendence is there to do exactly that.

No, he says those powers are limited to 18th century AGRARIAN requirements - otherwise known as just past ANARCHY!

Grow up and accept that you live in a civilized society, or MOVE OUT!

Listen Rush Limbaugh you can dump that love it or leave it NON arguement...

Your 18th century talk is what people around here usually call a straw man. HOW exactly is what our founding fathers made "anarchy"? Where is the real man here? All I see is straw.

Where do you get off calling the U.S. Constitution old and outdated? That document was the culmination of many years of many BRILLIANT men that changed the world in more ways than just the U.S. Constitution. They were collectively FAR smarter than you or I... They WERE civilized and WE are technologically superior but our humanity has changed little....

I am one of those who "were" expecting the Dems to do something in Congress. And I am already frustrated and angry. They were the only hope against the GOP mafia!

Why didn't the veto to the vetoed CHIP pass today? Just because the DEMS are a bunch of COWARDS - final conclusion. Had they told the President that there will not be a penny more for Iraq if this doesn't pass, it would have been different.

But guess what? They are going to approve the next BILLIONS for Bush again next time, too - and with their tails between their legs! Wanna bet?

It would have been so easy: "Mr. President, no honey no money!" Honey would be Bush signing the CHIP. Money is the fortune he is going to waste in Iraq again very soon - to have more of our kids killed there. And Halliburton et alli getting a big slice of it.

What happened to AMERICA? Why is America so sick now?????

The Dems and the Cons who support expanding SCHIP by $35 billion of the next five years need to remain steadfast and re-introduce a similar bill.

Yet Ron Paul wants to reduce government to the point that this wouldn’t be possible to happen. Yet another Libertarian contradiction!

Comment by republicans hate facts

WRONG....

Reducing the federal government in roles that it has no business operating in is NOT the same as ENFORCING those things that the Constitution set aside for the federal government... the Constitution does NOT say that the federal government has no powers... and neither does Ron Paul.... it is amazing how neoconish people are here are sounding...

Phew, good news for all of us (except the lazy folks).

The Republicans are going to propose the following:

1) A full reauthorization of SCHIP. The program would continue to cover children in families with incomes at or below 200% of the federal poverty level;

2) A child health care tax credit. Rather than putting more people on a government-run program, the legislation advances tax credits to families with incomes between 200% and 300% of the poverty level; and

3) A health care “federalism” initiative. This piece would complement both the reauthorization and the tax changes in expanding health care coverage, and would encourage even more dramatic health care experimentation at the state level with different approaches to coverage expansion.

Let me guess your kind has the signs for 2012 already made right? And they say, "FOUR MORE YEARS!!!" ...

Meet the new boss... same as the old boss...

Its amazing... after seven years you would think people on the left would have learned something... guess not... stop playing the game and join us Ron Paul supporters to actually CHANGE this country... do you just want to keep protesting year after year or do you want to actually DO something to change things?

Sixteen months from now, the Repubs will not be crowing so loud, as the Democrats stuff an entirely different S-CHIP program up their derriers, when the Democrats control all three branches of government.
This was the best compromise S-CHIP bill the Repubs are going to see. The next one will be entirely Democratic written and sponsored.
So, to condense, the Repubs won this battle, but they will lose this war badly.

Just take that libertarian label and throw it in the trash. It means nothing to most Ron Paul supporters... we dont come from a party ... we are people that have been picking the lesser of two evils in both parties...

And your explanation about why you laughed at the Constitution is the same as the neo cons give about why Islam must be destroyed... just because the PAST has not worked out like we wanted we must continue acting like idiots on into the future.... the CONSTITUTION has NOT been tried from 1865 to 1964.... republican bandaids on top of democrat bandaids on top of republican bandaids on top of democrat bandaids is ALL we have had... The PROMISE of the Constitution is NOT Jim Crow and it is NOT Civil Rights... Civil Rights is a temporary bandaid to help counter balance those that refuse to treat others as they themselves want to be treated. If the Constitution was ENFORCED in all areas then Civil Rights would not be neccessary... If the Federal Reserve was not allow to give special treatment to the rich elite then minorities would be able to go to good schools and have good jobs ... if the Constitution was ENFORCED no one would be forced to sit at the back of a bus because ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL... that is not in the Civil Rights laws... it is in the Constitution.

As far as repealing laws go YES... We want to repeal ALL laws that are not allowed in the Constitution and we want to ENFORCE all laws in the Constitution EVENLY which would make Civil Rights unneccessary. HOWEVER... we only want to do this GRADUALLY... and if you had EVER did any research on Ron Paul you would know this because he makes a big deal out of how things must be changed CAREFULLY so that people do not get hurt...

Libertarians wish to repeal Civil Rights Laws. That is an inherently racist position.

In the long run no it is not racist. In the long run racism will subside and then people can rely on the Constitutions rights for ALL people.

LOL! Right buddy. You are not the first Libertarian to try and blow that smoke up my ass. Your plan worked really well between 1865 and 1964 didn't it. Anyone who wants to go back to Jim Crow is a racist. Once the general public finds out that you Libertarians want to repeal Civil Rights Laws, Ron Paul won't be able to get elected dogcatcher.

All Americans should have the same health care as our representatives and senators. They should give up theirs until we have free health care for all for life. Why should some of the wealthiest people in the nation be given such a plan? All Americans should have the same entitlement.

Remember this when you vote!

This was not originally how the Democrats wanted to finance the bill. Taxing smokers was a Republican idea. The Democrats wanted to finance it by taking back tax breaks for the rich and corporations. Of course that didn’t pass muster with the RepubliCONS.

Then dont do it at all... these stupid half ass bandaids just continue the corruption of the federal government....

The democrats seem to weak in the knees to actually try to solve problems... they just dont want to make any waves...
