Fox News anchor slams Bush’s SCHIP double standard.
Yesterday, on Fox News’ All Star Panel, conservative Roll Call editor Mort Kondracke slammed President Bush’s SCHIP “compromise,” which “cut[s] off about a million children from the rolls.” Kondracke called Bush out on making a prominent 2004 campaign promise to expand children’s health insurance:
You have George Bush, who promised in 2004 at the Republican National Convention that he was going to cover millions of children who were not covered by SCHIP if he was reelected? And what does he do? He proposes a bill that would result in almost a million kids losing their coverage from the level it’s at. It’s no wonder Bush’s approval ratings is in the 30’s.

Of course, Kondracke will never be seen on Fox News ever again, but that’s a fair price to pay for telling the truth (which we all know Fox hates almost more than anyone to the political left of Rick Santorum).

Maybe Mort is clever enough to realize that Bush is going to be a huge millstone around the necks of Republican candidates next year, and he’s getting out in front of the effort to distance the party from the Chimp. Did he mention how Bush is really a liberal, by any chance?
Anyway, remember — Faux is only the Bush network because it’s first and foremost a Republican network. Faux management has to know that denying heath care to poor kids might get the “base” all hopped up, but it’s not gonna play very well across mainstream America.

Oops, my bad. Although it’s hard to believe he’s a landowner. Although I have seen some of those really small trailers up in the hills of Apalachia. Just so you don’t try to get a double wide up those gravel roads you’re okay. It’s nice there because he get’s to bury his family in the back yard when you own that quarter acre of rocks.

You know that when worshipers of Bush say things like this, he really is telling you that he is a dirt poor nobody, going home to an ugly wife and box headed kids. He lives in a shack and drives a 35 year old buick. The thing that is so ironic about this is that Billy could use the program he is groaning about. He could maybe better his family, but he cannot bring himself to say anything bad about our boy king. Its the grand illusion: you simply think you are part of the team, but Billy, you are not part of any team. Bush does not like you – you are too poor for him to care one toss about you.

So, Darth Chaney can tell Leahy to go fu*k himself and not apologize and Stark is supposed to apologize for a little hyperbole about blowing soldiers heads off for Bush’s amusement?
Besides, if Bush enjoyed blowing up frogs when he was young, it’s not a real stretch to think that he would enjoy our soldiers getting their heads blown off. If he cared, he would not have put our soldiers in harms way in the first place.

Look up a a book called Bush on the Couch, I believe it’s called. It contains interviews with his friends and family and is quite insightful regarding our Commander Guy.

That shows a certain lack of healthy emotional development, if you ask me.
I remember a time as a kid when I was over at a friends house and he and another friend spent about 20 minutes throwing a socker ball at a frog until it was dead, laughing the whole time. At the time it really disgusted me, and pissed me off.
I guess Bush would have fit in just with them.
Oh, well, it’s a small thing compared to the hundreds of thousands of deaths he has caused in Iraq. But still, it says something…

He thinks everyone is lucky enough to have afforded the education that would put them into his income category; that bad luck and accidents never forced someone to become a health insurance risk; that a child born with a condition that excludes that child from health insurance; that no one loses a job to outsourcing and downsizing; and so the list of misfortune goes on.
The ignoramus on this thread can only think of how this relates to him; no compassion, only selfishness. No sympathy, only resentment. No sharing of his tax dollars to the less fortunate, he prefers to spend his tax dollars by the trillions on a war without end.

Hillbilly doesn’t need insurance because he probably is on public aid. And if he isn’t he doesn’t have anything they can take from him so he can just go to the emergency room everytime he’s sick because he’s never going to pay for anything any way.

I believe that Jeb is actually the source for this info. In an interview in the 90’s, he said George used to terrorize his younger siblings with a bb gun shooting them in the ass as he forced them to run down the hall and that George loved to run outside when it rained and blow up the frogs that would come out with firecrackers.

No! Honest, Colonel, I know O’Reilly is anathema to folks on TP, but I have heard him rip Bush on a variety of issues. Dead serious, I don’t lie, I have heard it.
Fox really does employ a number of people on the left. I would agree that they are the most conservative of the cable nets, but they are not monolithically so.

The most lefty types on Fox are Ellis Hennigan and Juan Williams. I don’t watch Hannity and Combs cause it is too painful, I guess Combs is a lib, but he is a “Happy Lib”, collaborating with the enemy by talking with them and taking their dime.

I watched O’Reilly and Hume, with a proviso that the first lie, off goes the show. I did that several times, never once got beyond the first ten minutes, not once, with either one. they ahve soeripously hurt democracy and free speech in htis country, and the court case giving them free rein to lie was it. Not only do they lie, they spent a lot of money to fight for their right to lie. Nobody should watch them, and anybody that believes them is either a fool or an enemy of our country. Take your pick.

There was no outrage from his fellow Democrats in 2003 when Stark hurled an obscenity referring to homosexuality at a Republican Ways and Means member during a legislative mark-up.
• Silence was also the reaction when Stark said California state welfare director Eloise Anderson would “kill children if she had her way” in 1999.
• Nor was there a peep out of his party colleagues when in 1995 Stark called then-Republican Rep. Nancy Johnson a “whore” for insurance companies, and that her knowledge of health care came via “pillow talk.”
• Not even the Democrats’ Congressional Black Caucus complained when in 1990 Stark called President Bush’s black HHS Secretary Louis Sullivan “a disgrace to his race.”
But during Thursday’s House floor SCHIP debate, he managed to outdo most of his past venomous gaffes. Stark said Congress was going “to blow up innocent people if we could get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president’s amusement.”
House Majority Leader John Boehner of Ohio said Stark’s outburst dishonors “the thousands of courageous men and women of America’s armed forces” and he called on him to retract his remarks and apologize to the House, the commander in chief, and the families of our overseas forces.

Bush is happily murdering american soldiers for oil profits, and nobody should ever join the armed forces while republicans are around. republicans can’t be trusted with national security, that’s always been the case. cowards and liars, otherwise known as republicans, don’t have any ability to defend the USA. 9/11=Bush failure!
