If a US citizen works for a foreign company, the citizen is not subject to US social security tax unless the foreign employer is an affiliate of the US company, and there is a voluntary agreement between the foreign affiliate and the US Treasury. If the US citizens work directly for a US company - then they are still subject to US social security taxes. So - If you work for Coke Atlanta for esxample - you have both income and ss taxes.
