1) Nobody’s arguing that Valerie Plame isn’t on a book tour. We all know she’s promoting her book. That doesn’t mean we aren’t interested in what she has to say.

2) Valerie Plame was a covert agent. It’s highly doubtful the CIA would claim this if it wasn’t true.

3) Valerie Plame wasn’t outed by her husband. Robert Novak was the one who officially broadcast her covert status to the world, and the question of how he got that information was the subject of investigation. Are you claiming it was Joe Wilson who gave that leak to Novak?

4) You obviously don’t think this is a serious matter. There are a number of worrisome aspects of this whole nasty business, and the two at the top of the list are that this administration will go to any lengths to punish anyone who contradicts them, and this administration will compromise national security and people’s lives to punish political enemies.
