Puh-leeeeeeeeze…nobody buys it because the right-wingers have been trotting out this same pathetic Obama/Osama crap for ages now. Even if they hadn’t, Romney’s excuse would still be about as threadbare as George Allen’s claim that he made up the word ‘macaca” and had no idea that it was a racial slur. At best, it was a Freudian slip — and probably, it was nowhere nearly as accidental as he wants us to think. It’s not been accidental when the right-wingers have done it in the past, and I have absolutely no reason to believe that it’s accidental now — and all it does is demonstrate that there are virtually no depths to which this man, a self-proclaimed Christian, is not prepared to sink. Then again…am I surprised? Not on your life…

Did anyone look at the “reasons” why they are scary? It is ridiculous. The reasons are that they are Liberal. No issues, or logical arguments about the good or bad they would do for the country. How does anyone take the Republicans seriously anymore? It is funded by the RNC.

This just makes me sick – the logical and productive debates about different policy decisions have been degraded into the Democrats trying to talk about the issues and the Republicans saying that they are the boogey man so don’t believe anything they say. The Republicans are running SOLELY on what their crystal ball says – regardless of any facts.

Being Gay is not something that can be drilled out of someones head, like a bad filling.

Look for more Haggard scandals in the future, because he is still trying to be “in the closet”

Wayne, you do remember you’re talking to Duh, DuhduhduhDaryll here. You’d probably get a better response explaining it to your dog or cat or bird or lizard. Because Daryll is going to come back with some excerpt from his bible, the newest one, written 1,500 years after Christ’s death. All that time to keep misinterpreting you know.

Such was point in asking the question. You want to condemn others for their actions, even though the bible tells you not to judge. You have judged Haggards soul safe when you dont know that.

Judge not, lest you be judged.

Bush is far from the only one to do that. Most Republicans refer to the Democratic Party as the Democrat Party. It is intentional rudeness. That’s why I get on the case of people on this blog who unintentionally say the same thing. We need to be aware of their insults and not perpetuate them.

Oh, stick around if you want to see how and with whom I get offended! St. Daryll and I have had some battles of Biblical proportions. I refer to him and his fundamentalist ilk as “Christian Pharisees”. A major reason I come to TP is to demonstrate that there are progressive Christians who don’t want or need the power of the government to live the true values that Jesus described. I have more respect for the non-believers who are loving, tolerant, and caring than I do the attack-dog Christians who are arrogant, judmental demogogues themselves.
