The Poughkeepsie Journal in New York reports that “Vice President Dick Cheney is coming to Dutchess County again to go hunting.” On Monday, Cheney is “expected to leave Poughkeepsie and head to the Clove Valley Rod & Gun Club.” No word on whether the Vice President will be drinking beforehand this time.

He has been so riled up lately about Iran, glad to see he is getting his war mongering ya-yas out on defenseless foul.

October 25th, 2007 at 2:14 pm#1 - LAFWH, why are you so filled with hate?
Could it be that you are upset that the majority of Americans are moving away from the ultra-rabid right-whiners and voting for change with Democrat tickets?
Or are you just not paying attention to the destruction of the US Constitution by the Bush Administration and their egregious behavior to which the “conservatives” turn a blind eye?
October 25th, 2007 at 2:15 pmI think the Clove Valley Rod and Gun Club may be hitting the Dutchess County pet stores to stock up on tame quail for Darth’s visit.
October 25th, 2007 at 2:15 pm“On Monday morning, he is expected to leave Poughkeepsie and head to the Clove Valley Rod & Gun Club in LaGrangeville.
Motorists can expect road closures and considerable associated delays on Interstate 84 and Route 9 Sunday night, and on Route 55 and again on Interstate 84 on Monday. Depending on what time he travels Monday morning, his trip could disrupt school bus service in affected areas.”
Resident pheasants of Clove Valley today breathed a collective sigh of relief, knowing that the incoming hunter usually shoots his fellow hunters.

October 25th, 2007 at 2:27 pmYes hits, it was well documented. Go over to smokinggun.com and you can see the police report. It also notes that the main reason the guy wasn’t hit with more buckshot is because he was on the farside of a hill. That tells me Cheney was shooting towards the ground at the time. Not very sporting of him. It’s also documented that there was alcohol present. A violation of firearm regs and the advice of his doctor due to the meds Cheney was on.
What myth are you talking about hits? Maybe the “long supremacy” thing?

And that tips your hand as to how delusional the right side has to be to defend and dismiss this incident. The reaction was “documented”? What the heck does that mean, anyway? It was documented that he had alcohol in him. Maybe he had to wait to have the alcohol levels diminish. Maybe he is a coward who cannot speak for himself. Maybe he is a nutjob who believes himself above the laws of the land. Your self respect must be at all time lows for you to hang your star onto Cheneys fortunes.

How about the 1940’s? Did a Dem do something back then too? Maybe you could check it out and enlighten us. Kinda weird. Ah, well, when you’ve got nothin’ else, I guess you go with what you got.
October 25th, 2007 at 3:58 pmYeah, you know, TDCon, I just have to ask.
The incident with Senator Kennedy happened in 1969. Neither I, nor my wife were a gleam in our father’s eyes back then. Only 13 days before this incident, Apollo 11’s Moon Lander touched down at Tranquility Base. This was the era of Nixon, a chapter that in many of our lives was either before our time or when we were children. To have been alive when this happened, you had to be 38 years old. To remember it, you had to be at least 43, and more realistically, 48+. To have formed an opinion when it happened, you’d have to been in your 60s! Two whole generations of people have come and gone since this event. So I ask you…
What must Ted Kennedy do to absolve him of this guilt. When does the statute of limitations run out? How long is too long to hold a grudge?
You guys got what you wanted. 1972, he didn’t run for President, like he wanted to. You’ve gotten your revenge and killed a dynasty, which is a good thing.
So, pray tell, WHY do you bring up something that happened before I was born?
On second thoughts, don’t answer that. I’d like to retain my respect for humanity as a whole.

October 25th, 2007 at 4:31 pmKennedy is still a Senator and still hasn’t paid for his crime. Comment by TCDon — October 25, 2007 @ 4:30 pm
Not true. He was in fact tried in the court of law. If you want to know who hasn’t paid for their Crimes, look at Cheney (shot a man while drunk and when hunting without a license), Laura (killed an exboyfriend and paid no price) or George (invaded a country based on fixed intelligence).
Instead, due to his political connections, he merely got 2 months suspended sentence and 1 year of probation for leaving the scene of the accident. Comment by TCDon — October 25, 2007 @ 4:30 pm
See, you contradict yourself. He DID pay a price, just one you didn’t like! That’s like George, who was caught doing insider trading at Harken, what price did he pay? The SEC let him off with a warning, but they put Martha in Jail for less!

October 25th, 2007 at 4:38 pmTCDon, Ted Kennedy will forever be tarnished by his actions. So will Bush and Cheney. And Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz and Perle and Libby and Rove and……….
October 25th, 2007 at 4:45 pmI read the wiki, TCDon, that’s the only way I knew about the thing. OK, I could give you that if he did this a year ago. Maybe even 5. But THIRTY EIGHT YEARS AGO? After it has been exposed to death? You’re still going on about this?
Oh, I get it. You’re bitter that Kennedy got a slap on the wrist. Maybe this wouldn’t have been such a big deal if Nixon hadn’t been drummed out of the political scene for his comparatively lesser crime of breaking and entering. You must be bitter that Kennedy at least still has his Senatorial position while Nixon is long since drummed out of political service. I mean, where does this Kennedy fellow get off drowning a girl in his car and still being a public figure when all Nixon did was go poking around in the Democrat’s private files.
There’s only one problem with this image. Both politicians gave up something for their crimes, and both retained shadows of their former political lives and ambitions. Nixon received a full Presidential Pardon, ending any possibility of legal consequences of the actions of his associates at Watergate. He eventually built up a reputation as a statesman and consultant, tapped by both Republicans and Democrats after him. Kennedy served his probation, has kept his nose clean since then, and is still respected by the people of his state. He’s got a snowball’s chance in hell of ever winning the Presidency, however.
Nixon and Kennedy both are long since water under the bridge. We could be gnashing our teeth over Ford’s pardon, but frankly? Nixon’s DEAD. So is his VP, Ford. Both men are no longer concerned with what they did in life, and honestly, neither am I. There isn’t even a need anymore to hold Nixon up as an example of the perils of unchecked Presidents. You guys have given me much more…recent material.
But whatever floats your boat, dude. Keep insisting Kennedy ‘pay for his crime’, whatever you think it may have been (obviously murder…couldn’t have been involuntary manslaughter or reckless driving or even DUI, let alone ‘leaving the scene of an accident’), 40 years after he’s done his time for the crime which he was accused of and found guilty of.
October 25th, 2007 at 4:46 pmTCDon, you realize the republican companion list will now be posted. Your list has people from the 70’s. Are you so onesided as to ignore the current republican abuses?
October 25th, 2007 at 4:48 pmThat’s an awful large amount of copy and pasting you’re doing there, TCDon. I don’t have the time nor the inclination to put together the comparable list of Federal, State, and Local politicians who are affiliated with the Republican Party and list hard convictions, let alone the accusations. I garantee you, my list would be several times longer than yours……….
.
.
…not necessarily because your party is nothing but a bunch of crooks, but also because there’s just more of you than there are of the D’s.
At least you’re moving away from 40 year old incidents to …
….incidents that are 27 years old…
In 1980 I was a 7 year old boy. My only concerns back then was school, becoming a meteorologist, and digesting every bit of science I could get my young mind around.
With THIS list in mind, I could likely generate something four, five, six, or even MORE times as long. But let’s limit ourselves to those outstanding investigations today into allagations of wrongdoing, caught in our legal system waiting for appeals to run out, shall we? :)
October 25th, 2007 at 4:53 pmJeez! A troll goes back nearly 40 years to make his list of corruption. We have never claimed that the Democratic party has been free from its share of losers - it is the Republican party that denies the facts.
October 25th, 2007 at 4:56 pmActually, the list of Republicans only in the last 8 years that have been charged with sexual crimes is nearly as long as his entire list of Dems.
If we were to include all the corruption by Republicans over the same period of time as our troll, we may not have enough bandwidth.
His was a foolish effort to make a point.
I get this from my dad too, but at least he was old enough to remember this incident.
I asked him the same question. He gave the same BS answer. I then asked him what the statute of limitations is on this crime. He said until the guy was punished. I asked him how long should it be if he was a Republican. He finally got my point. Then I asked him if he was wrong in teaching me that two wrongs don’t make a right. He saw the light. Too bad Rush Limbaugh will pull the wool over his eyes again.
I don’t care what Kennedy did or did not do some night back in 1969. I’m not all that concerned about what Ford did for Nixon before I could say ‘Nixon’. There’s too much bullshit going on TODAY in the Democratic and ESPECIALLY the Republican party to worry about what some fool did in 1969 or 1974 or 1980 or whenever.
TCDon, if you abhor law-breakers, then why aren’t you clamoring just as hard for Cheney to do time for assault with a deadly weapon? Why aren’t you asking for his hunting licenses to be revoked? Oh, I get it. Because Kennedy belongs to this other group that is not part of your group, the laws should apply to him, and not to Cheney, who is part of your group.
They call this a double standard. Not that you really care.
October 25th, 2007 at 5:05 pmJeremy, that was only a small sampling of Democratic corruption. I could put together a list 10 times longer, at least

October 25th, 2007 at 5:07 pmAre you from Traverse City, Don?
October 25th, 2007 at 5:12 pmTCDon, you won’t get any arguments that Hillary is not an upstanding member of society. Personally, I think she’s a little too much ‘in bed’ with the Republican Party, has her pockets too full of corporate money, and is too interested in telling me and mine how to live our lives (no violence in video games, anyone?) She’s not my candidate, trust me on this. And if I could vote in the Democratic Primary, I’d vote against her, probably for Kucinich, the only D who has had any appeal to me so far. However, that little letter next to my name on my voter registration card says ‘I’, so no primary vote for me. Trust me, though, you won’t get me to vote for any of your guys. The Democrats could put up a mangy stinky brown mutt that licks its butt, and I’d still vote for that over anything you’ve got. ;) Right now, it’s the lesser of two evils, and you guys are not the lesser of two evils…and that finding has nothing to do with the fact that it’s been proven unsafe for Cheney’s friend to go hunting with him.
But keep hunting for 20 year old+ dirt on the D’s. At least that’ll make you feel better.
October 25th, 2007 at 5:13 pmHow long would your list be if it were limited to, say, the last decade?

Comment by TCDon — October 25, 2007 @ 5:09 pm
How did you get that out of what I said?
oh, that’s right — you’re delusional.
Okay, I’ll explain it to you in terms that you should be able to understand: you’re making yourself look stupid because your extensive list of “Democrat corruption” includes a claim of “soon to be investigated/charged” (THAT’s evidence of corruption? Better refresh your understanding of “evidence”) and then jumps very quickly to 1969 and pretty much stays in the sixties and seventies for most of your little wank. You do foray into the nineties for a few items, but then you list several officials with no dates at all, and none of them is an active politican.
In short, if that’s the best you got, you got nothin’.
And everyone here can see that, plain as day.
October 25th, 2007 at 5:19 pmCould it be that you are upset that the majority of Americans are moving away from the ultra-rabid right-whiners and voting for change with Democrat tickets?
Or are you just not paying attention to the destruction of the US Constitution by the Bush Administration and their egregious behavior to which the “conservatives†turn a blind eye?
Comment by Democrat Soldier — October 25, 2007 @ 2:15 pm
How about the Neocon group equating TP and MoveOn.org as HATE-filled sites?
I guess the Nazis equate the TRUTH to hate.
So, LIES to them is “LOVE”!
And to these subhumans, Jesus tells us that the HATE will set you free, and God is LIES???
Unbelievable!!

October 25th, 2007 at 5:22 pmTrent Lott: Republican Senator from Mississippi forced to relinquish his position as Senate Majority Leader after he stated that the United States would have been better off if segregationist candidate Strom Thurmond had won the presidency in 1948. Speaking at a 100th birthday party and retirement celebration for Republican Senator Thurmond, Lott said, “I want to say this about my state: When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over all these years, either.” On July 17, 1948, delegates from 13 southern states gathered in Birmingham to nominate Thurmond and adopt a platform that said, “We stand for the segregation of the races and the racial integrity of each race.”
Tom Delay: Participated in a conspiracy to funnel corporate donations to state political candidates through the Republican National Committee. Forced in shame to step down as House Republican leader after he was indicted by a Texas grand jury on charges of conspiracy. He is the first House leader to be indicted while in office in more than a century. On 3/31/06, DeLay’s former chief of staff, Tony Rudy, pleaded guilty to conspiracy and promised to help with a federal investigation of bribery and lobbying fraud relating to Abramoff. Rudy admitted conspiring with Abramoff — both while Rudy worked for the Texas congressman and after he left the lawmaker’s staff to become a lobbyist himself. He is the second former DeLay staffer to plead guilty to federal charges in connection with the lobbying probe. Read More
John Negroponte: Recently appointed by the Bush administration as Director of National Intelligence for the United States, and since fired. Ambassador to Honduras from 1981-1985 during which time he supported and carried out an extreme US-sponsored policy of severe violations to human rights and international law. Supervised the creation of the El Aguacate air base, where the US trained the far-right murderous Nicaraguan Contras during the 1980’s. The base was used as a secret detention and torture center, and in August 2001, excavations at the base discovered the first of the corpses of the 185 people, including two Americans, who are thought to have been killed and buried at this base. During his ambassadorship, human rights violations in Honduras became systematic. The infamous Battalion 316, trained by the CIA and Argentine military, kidnaped, tortured and killed hundreds of people. Negroponte knew about these human rights violations and yet continued to collaborate with them, while lying to Congress. He should spend the rest of his life in a federal prison to pay for his crimes.
George W. Bush: Lied to the world about reasons for going to war in Iraq. Increased the national debt to over $8 Trillion with tax cuts for the rich and two wars. Directly responsible for the near-collapse of the US economy with millions of US citizens having lost their jobs. Created a poisonous atmosphere of anti-Americanism around the globe. Supports irresponsible foreign, economic, social and environmental policies. Obscene ties to big business and the Religious Right. He has spent more than 40% of his time in office either on vacation, going to or returning from vacation. He’s spent the remainder of his time trying to form meaningful sentences and to clear his mind of the perpetual fog that seems to linger there. The voters in the US booted out many republicans from Congress, turning over control to the democrats, to voice their contempt of this president and his support by republican representatives.
It’s time for impeachment
Dick Cheney: Directly responsible while CEO of Halliburton for corporate tax evasion, illegal arms sales, bribing of foreign officials, and price gouging the US government. Responsible for the granting of no-bid contracts while holding the position of VP to Halliburton. Lied to the US public about Iraq’s nuclear activities. Blasted his hunting partner in the face and chest with a shotgun while illegally hunting in Texas in February 2006.
Sued in federal court on July 13, 2006, along with presidential advisor Karl Rove by CIA officer Valerie Plame and her husband, Joseph Wilson, a former U.S. ambassador accusing them and other White House officials of conspiring to destroy her career.
John Boehner: Elevated to the position of republican house leader to replace disgraced former leader Tom Delay. Boehner himself is a prime example of congressional corruption. His political action committee collected nearly $300,000 from private student lending companies and for-profit academic institutions from 2003-2004. He has taken more than $157,000 in free trips, placing him in 7th place for such questionable activity. More than 20 of his staff members have taken jobs in the private sector as lobbyists or corporate public affairs specialists. He handed out checks to his colleagues from tobacco company political action committees on the floor of Congress in 1995.
In September 2006, shortly after the five-year anniversary of the World Trade Center destruction, he stated to the disbelief of everyone that Democrats “are more interested in protecting the terrorists than protecting the American people.” Just another corrupt Republican extremist.
Karl Rove: White House political adviser who has appeared five times before a federal grand jury investigating the leak of the name of a CIA operative. Close ties to corrupt Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Forced to give up his role as senior policy coordinator at the White House in April 2006. Rove originally failed to disclose to prosecutors that he had talked to Time magazine reporter Matt Cooper about the outed CIA operative, Valerie Plame, back in 2003. Months before Rove acknowledged speaking to Cooper about the CIA status of Plame, reporter Robert Novak told Rove’s lawyer the Rove might have disclosed Plame’s CIA work to Cooper.
Sued in federal court on July 13, 2006, along with vice-president Dick Cheney by CIA officer Valerie Plame and her husband, Joseph Wilson, a former US ambassador accusing them and other White House officials of conspiring to destroy her career.
Announced his resignation from the White House on August 13, 2007. Good riddance.
John Ashcroft: Former US Attorney General who helped draft the presidential order creating secret military tribunals which bypasses the US court system and contains significant due process violations and allows for the imposition of the death penalty. Appointed individuals who have poor civil rights/liberties records to high-level DOJ positions. Eliminated a pilot program that provided federal money to pay for DNA testing to exonerate innocent inmates. Has blurred the line between church and state by conducting daily sessions of prayer and Bible study at the DOJ. Rounded up and imprisoned over 1200 men of Middle Eastern descent based largely on pretextual immigration violations and refused to disclose their identity and location and the reason for their detention. Katherine Harris: Florida Secretary of State who purposefully committed multiple felonies to throw the 2004 Presidential election. Her crimes are carefully documented. Read more Read more
Jeb Bush: Governor of Florida who abused his position and conspired with his brother George Bush, the Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, and the Bush-Cheney Campaign to illegally compromise the integrity of the 2004 Presidential election in Florida and skew the national election in favor of George Bush. Read more
Phyllis Schlafly: Ultra-right-wing troublemaker. Through the years she has never failed to spew forth unimaginably hateful rhetoric. A sad individual, really, with little to no credibility.
Ronald Reagan: Placed on a pedestal by most republicans, this former president was actually one of the worst presidents in US history, committing multiple crimes against humanity during his time as president. These included the deaths of tens of thousands of gay men in the United States as the direct result of his refusal to take action to combat the AIDS crisis, as well as his ongoing conspiracy to promote right-wing dictatorships, contras, and death squads in Central America.
Pat Buchanan: Hypocrite, anti-Semite, pro-fascist, racist, hires staff members with ties to white Supremacy and militia groups, closely tied to Nixon’s Watergate crimes
Robert Novak: Damaged US security by irresponsibly and illegally reporting the CIA cover of Ambassador Robert Wilson’s wife (who is an operative), as part of a retaliation for his report that concluded there was no attempt by Iraq to purchase yellowcake uranium ore from Niger.
Jerry Falwell: Born-again Christian bigot who stated that the attacks on September 11, 2001, were the result of God removing a protective barrier from the United States as punishment for the nation’s acceptance of homosexuals and feminists.
Falwell’s “protective barrier” was removed on May 15, 2007 and he died then.
Rick Santorum: Former junior senator from Pennsylvania. An anti-gay bigot who dishonors family values by spreading false and inflammatory rhetoric against gays and lesbians. Named as one of the 13 most corrupt members of Congress.
Booted from office by the people of Pennsylvania in November 2006. History will look back on him with contempt.
Lee Raymond: Former ExxonMobil CEO. Until recently, the leader of one of the largest US oil companies. Personally responsible for price gouging consumers in the US while raking in huge profits for his company and his own pocketbook. Received a retirement package worth $400 million. ExxonMobil on 7/27/2006 reported that it earned $10.36 billion in the second quarter, the second largest quarterly profit ever recorded by a publicly traded U.S. company.
David O’Reilly: ChevronTexaco CEO. The leader of one of the largest US oil companies. Personally responsible for price gouging consumers in the US while raking in record profits for his company and his own pocketbook.
Rob Routs: Shell Oil US CEO. The leader of one of the largest US oil companies. Personally responsible for price gouging consumers in the US while raking in huge profits for his company and his own pocketbook.
James Mulva: ConocoPhillips CEO. The leader of one of the largest US oil companies. Personally responsible for price gouging consumers in the US while raking in huge profits for his company and his own pocketbook.
October 25th, 2007 at 5:24 pmWhat Ralph said.
There’s useful dirt out there that needs to be exposed on Hillary, Obama, and Edwards, to try to get Democratic voters to see who and what they’re supporting. You should be hoping they put their best candidate up, because if your candidate is defeated by their candidate, having a crook in office is bad for the country whether or not the crook has a little D or R after their name.
All you accomplish by digging up stuff from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and even 90’s is to turn Democrats and Independents off your message. Why should I, a voting Independent, listen to you if you keep bringing up incidents that happened when I was a kid or not even born?
Also, keep on target. Is Jefferson running for President? NO. So telling me that William “Frozen Assets” Jefferson is a crook is a) telling me something I already know, and b) not telling me why I shouldn’t vote for Hillary “No Violence in Video Games” Clinton.
Could you at least TRY to stay on target?
October 25th, 2007 at 5:25 pmTime to go get a nice Conservative haircut and go home to my Family.

October 25th, 2007 at 5:40 pmYup, because they are TRAITORS to the USA who deserve to be TORTURED in Gitmo until they DROP DEAD,
and join their MASTER Satan for FUN AND GAMES for ETERNITY.
See, Jeremy WON’T answer the question of WHY they wouldn’t testify.
Busted, TROLL Jeremy!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
October 25th, 2007 at 5:42 pmDemocRAT Soldier,
I am sorry, the last time I checked the Democrat Congress was at 11% approval. Comment by Liberals Are Filled With Hate — October 25, 2007 @ 5:04 pm
Actually the DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS have a much higher rating, the COMPLETE CONGRESS WITH BOTH PARTIES has that low of a rating in ONE POLL. But the REPUBLICANS are the ones BLAMED for this rating in the SAME POLL!
AND even with an unpopular war and President, Democrat candidates still don’t break 50% when matched against GOP candidates. Comment by Liberals Are Filled With Hate — October 25, 2007 @ 5:04 pm
Not true. In many polls they break 50% against most matchups.
Also, I noticed that the cowardly Dems won’t cut off funding, won’t push impeachment and just confirmed Judge Southwick to the fifth Circuit. So please, tell me again, where Dems have the advantage? Comment by Liberals Are Filled With Hate — October 25, 2007 @ 5:04 pm
Won’t cut off funding? What, you believe they should let the soldiers starve in Iraq - that’s COURAGEOUS to you? You’re a lunatic!
Also, why did Dems lose the governorship in LA? Why did Niki Tsongas barely win her house seat in an overwhelmingly Democrat district? Comment by Liberals Are Filled With Hate — October 25, 2007 @ 5:04 pm
Because half of the Democrats in the state were shipped out?
Be careful Dem lovers - your slip is showing. Your cowardly party will finally pay for their crimes.
Comment by Liberals Are Filled With Hate — October 25, 2007 @ 5:04 pm
BAHAHAHA, a REPUBLICAN LECTURING ON CRIMES - TOO F****ING FUNNY!!! As for YOUR SLIP, how MISOGYNISTIC OF YOU! What a little f***ing p**Sy!!!
October 25th, 2007 at 5:43 pmWow. That list of yours took quite a hit when we subtracted anything older than a decade, didn’t it, TCD? I was actually sorry to remove the guy listed as a “Delegate to the Democratic National Convention”. I mean, including that guy alone is enough to discredit your whole enterprise.
And I also liked the “Democratic Assemblyman” from Brooklyn. Here is what TCDon thinks of as massive Democratic corruption:
Pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for accepting travel reimbursement for trips he did not pay for and was sentenced to fines and probation.
Ooooooo! He must be a baaaaaad man.
thanks for the laughs, TCD.
October 25th, 2007 at 5:45 pmTTFN. Enjoy. Time to go get a nice Conservative haircut and go home to my Family.
Comment by TCDon — October 25, 2007 @ 5:23 pm
Was that before or after that stop in the mens room to COLLABORATE with your fellow GOP Representatives about how they don’t understand that in AMERICA you can’t try someone twice for the SAME CRIME, no matter how much Kennedy Derangement Syndrome and (Abramoff Man Love Syndrome) you GOP Wingnuts Have!
October 25th, 2007 at 5:46 pmTime to go get a nice Conservative haircut and go home to my Family.

A nice …skinhead, perhaps…?
I’m sure that look suits you PERFECTLY.

Naw, he’s just going off to get his nut shaved. The cock hair is below the cuffs of his pants.
October 25th, 2007 at 6:15 pmUh-oh. I live in Dutchess County, NY, about 35 minutes away from PK. I am truly scared.
October 25th, 2007 at 7:30 pmArn, I was on the way home from work when you asked your question.
No question, Bush is a crook. My point was that when you use all-bold, that makes you a troll….troll.
Just goes to show that both sides of the political spectrum have bad apples.
And good job, Ralph. too bad TCDon left in a huff to get his ‘conservative haircut’ and be with his ‘family’. :)
October 25th, 2007 at 7:54 pmArn is not a troll, and Jeremy does not appear to be a troll either.
October 25th, 2007 at 8:01 pmThey just need relax, put their feet up, give each other a big cyber-hug and start fresh in the evening.
There is no lower form of life on this earth than the knuckle dragging, bootlicking, asskissing, troglodytes of the 24% club…dumb as dirt.
October 25th, 2007 at 8:36 pmWalt - nut, singular?
Oh dear. That poor man! Maybe he could get Ann Coulter to loan him one of hers.
October 25th, 2007 at 8:56 pmDick Cheney is a strong Vice President who has brought a lot of strength to White House. People like him are the reason why the US is able to maintain long term supremacy in the world. Poking fun at the hunting accident, while appropriate, go a bit too far once in a while.

I’m sorry, Have we met? I’m from the planet Earth. Which planet are you from?
October 25th, 2007 at 9:28 pmTry looking at the commonality of these people we do or dont like:
Bush Jr, Bill Clinton, Dick Cheyney, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Richard Nixon. Despite different parties they have a few main similarities.
1. Criminals, each and every one of them.
2. They are Rich out of touch with the working americans world.
3. They support laws that sugguest “Americans are complete morons who cannot be trusted to make their own decisions.”
4. They believe their own lies.
CRIMES - Thats was tossed around alot as how far back do we go, and this is not as important. Thats smokes and mirrors. Truth is that nobody who has committed any felony can retain political office.
Forget the “trials” and “on record” as these are people who have enough influence to re-write the records. Most have already done so. Long term Politicians are for the most part the best criminals in history. But lets briefly look at the mix of Republicans/Democrats I listed. Are they 100% evil, probably not. Do I want these people in political power - definitely not. All them have forgotten their oath of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.
BUSH Jr. for violation of Human Rights & Freedom of Americans alone shoud be in jail. Legal Torture. Wiretaps with no warrants,
Jail with no Attorney or Charges, Illegal Deportation of US Citizens, Lied under oath.
BILL CLINTON - Convicted of Purgery in Arkansas and D.C., Obsctucting Justice, Illegal funds, Whitewater.
DICK CHENEY - Ties to illegal funds, conflict of interest in “Private Security” firms being used in IRAQ, Human Rights and Freedom violations. Lets not forget Driking and Shooting a friend no less.
TED KENNEDY - Convicted of illegaly leaving the scene of an accident, lying under oath, Drunken Driving. Legally after his accident he could not hold office! So who paid who to keep him in?
HILLARY CLINTON - Whitewater, lied under oath as to a ledger that never existed (found later in her studywith her prints on and inside)
RICHARD NIXON - Watergate, illegal wire taps, lied under oath, etc..
WMD/BIN LADEN - THE BIG LIEs & TRUTHs?
George Jr said WMD in Iraq with terroists so lets go get them.
We went, and no WMD found? Can’t find Bin Laden so the search for terroists must continue. So how hard is he trying to find him?
Bill Clinton - Made Bin Laden famous, and pissed him off by trying to shove at least 2 trident missles up his backside. Our former Ally.
Ronald Regan - Bin Laden was trained by CIA in terrorist tactics and funded by USA to fight against those commies in Afghanistan. WMD sold/given in the form of Chemical warheads to IRAQ.
So - WMD do exists in IRAQ BECAUSE WE GAVE THEM TO THEM!
So - Bin Laden was trained by CIA to be A TERRORIST and was practically made a martyr when Bill Clinton tried to off him, thus our “Leaders” making him famous and able to gather followers.
If we back though history, well none of our presidents were saints.
But the majority of power/money/corruption/supressing human rights is mostly starting with Mr. Nixon.
I’m from Paul Wellstones home state, but Paul was not the hero many would say. Paul told me because Mr. Clinton was so well liked he deserved to stay in office despite his felony (but the law says he cant legall hold office). ?? My comment to Paul was that hopefully Americans will elect better leaders OR hold them accountable and prove that only a few times in history does “power” or “wealth” buy you freedom despite your acts.
We need to look for the dirt, and if its there, look elsewhere. I am hoping that we vote for the best person with the best ideas and values. I hope that person is not very well linked politicaly as they will need to cross party lines to fix this country and the mess both sides put us in! Years ago I said I would never join the ACLU as they were such a radical group. I joined a few years ago after the last election because we had both parties jail/illegally detain/fire on unarmed citizens because they we saying something negative about that party member. They established “free speech Zones” and once outside those zones you were arrested if your message wasnt in favor of that party. To add to the mess, we now have a religious group our government doesn’t like so it tracks their members in our country, they lock some up because they gave funds 30 years ago to a group that is now anti=american, they have defined camps outside our country for “detainment”, they have defined what is “not torture”, they have limited human freedoms with the “Patriot Act” in the interest of security, they have list of people who have spoken by phone with people whos religion and homeland is not happy with the US.
They have duplicated Nazi Germany, right down to the invasion of foreign lands for security. Which right now puts us 1 step from WW3 and Death Camps (oops we have one in Guantamo).
Its time we stop the insanity and elect them OUT.
Who do we elect in? Good question as I don’t see/hear the right signals from those running. Perhaps we need to tell them we want our boys home, we want our freedoms restored, we want NOT to be an Empire but a free “Country”, we want to take care of our sick and homeless, and perhaps if we stop overthowing / threatening / invading other goverments their people wont hate America. Thus no terrroists.
So, hope for a good person to show up before we vote.
October 25th, 2007 at 10:39 pmVote the 3rd party if you have to. Vote FOR the Person. Worst case we end up with a Jesse Ventura like we did in MN…. and find out he joins the political system and slowly de-evolves from a logical man into a non sensical politician. Good luck & dont trust anyone who isn’t fighting for “your” freedoms.
