If everyone had a concealed weapon, we have a paranoid society. If crooked cops and government are the only ones armed, well look at history and what happens to countries that take away the guns of citizens. Waco was the example of what the government will go to to stop an armed citizenry, and they out gun the citizens. It's a tough call.
