A post by Nashville-based blogger Webutante, highlighted by Pajamas Media, compares former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer to Moses:
It was at that moment I saw Ari Fleischer in a totally new light: He was a modern day Moses leading his people out of slavery, into freedom. But rather than leading them out of the land of Egypt, he was taking them out of the bondage of the Democratic party.
Fleischer currently serves as a board member of the White House front group Freedom’s Watch. Recently, he callously told a dead soldier’s mom that “there are going to be a lot more mothers” like you, and admitted he did not know the name of a wounded veteran who appeared in his own organization’s ad.
he’s no moses malone. no way. not by a long shot.

October 30th, 2007 at 1:03 pmPied Piper, maybe – leading an army of rats – but MOSES??
Puh-lease.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:04 pmAri better start working on that beard — and his smarts. He’s got some catching up to do…
October 30th, 2007 at 1:06 pmHe listened to a Bush and got his people hopelessly lost in the desert?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:06 pmIf they want a biblical reference I would suggest the snake from the Garden of Eden, the thief hung up beside Christ, or Lot’s wife (assuming Lot was gay).
October 30th, 2007 at 1:08 pmA post by Nashville-based blogger Webutante, highlighted by Pajamas Media,
Tough to argue with those type of credentials , isn’t it ?
They may as well have claimed he was a friggin’ Mouseketeer ……
What the hell type of credibility/validity does that nitwit possess ?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:08 pmWow.
So the Democratic party has enslaved the American people and is in need of an Exodus?
Good freakin’ god, where do these people come up with these bass-ackwards perceptions of the world?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:09 pmMaybe we could relate King George the Dumb to Moses as well—the Burning Bush.

More like the Burnt-out Bush ……….
October 30th, 2007 at 1:11 pmMaybe not another Moses, but he must be damn intelligent with a name like Ari Fleischer.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:11 pmJust some goosestepper.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:12 pmLeading his people? When were any democrats Ari’s people?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:13 pmYet another Jew that AEI. thinks is sooo smart ?

October 30th, 2007 at 1:17 pmOMFG!!! With asshats like these, it really IS a miracle that they did not launch the ICBMs on the night of 20 January 2001.
If Fleischer is Moses, then I’m a cumquat from Queens.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:19 pmwhen’s god going to kill Bush’s first born?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:22 pmWhy do Democrats hate Jews?
Comment by TCDon — October 30, 2007 @ 1:19 pm
How is criticism of U.S./Israel policy “hatred of Jews?”
October 30th, 2007 at 1:22 pmWhy do Democrats hate Jews?
Comment by TCDon — October 30, 2007 @ 1:19 pm
Democrats only hate the treasonous Jews tha thte Republicans tolerate. the question is, why do Republicans hate Americans?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:25 pmModern day Judas, more like – just ask Valerie Plame.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:26 pmWhy do Democrats hate Jews?
Comment by TCDon — October 30, 2007 @ 1:19 pm
What an utterly meaningless, irrational comment.
As far as “leading his people out of slavery”????
Geez, is the entire right wing of this country delusional?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:27 pmGood question. Why is criticism of expanded S-Chip “hatred of Children?â€
If “Why do Republicans hate children,†is a fair question than “why do Democrats hate Jews†is equally fair.
Comment by TCDon — October 30, 2007 @ 1:26 pm
Thank you for admitting that Republicans hate children. :)

They don’t hate children, they just think war halfway around the globe is more important. Maybe if we get rid of welfare, we can bomb Iran.

not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I’m a gentile, so I can’t be totally sure, but that’s my uneducated guess.
or Sammy Davis Jr. envy…
October 30th, 2007 at 1:34 pmMoses was a Jew?
October 30th, 2007 at 1:38 pmBoy was I wrong. I always thought he was a pinhead ideologue.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:39 pmAri Fleischer is one of the original fascist wingnuts of PNAC and will someday be held accountable for war crimes along with the rest of the criminal element “within”.

Zippy the Pinhead! Gabba, Gabba, we accept you, we accept you, we accept you, one of us!
October 30th, 2007 at 1:41 pmLike his former employer, Fleischer couldn’t lead a circle jerk in Boys Town. (Would either of them like to try? That’s another question . . .)
October 30th, 2007 at 1:41 pmGeez, is the entire right wing of this country delusional?
Comment by The Republic of Stupidity
Yes. next question, please…
October 30th, 2007 at 1:47 pmRight-wing blogger: Ari Fleischer is a ‘modern day Moses.’
October 30th, 2007 at 1:52 pm
Further proof conservatism is a brain disease.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:52 pmMoses was a blithering wreck of a speaker that he had Aaron do it for him (at least what I learned from Sunday skool). So the comparison is really stupid.
October 30th, 2007 at 1:58 pmOk, now that quote just goes to prove that the wingnuts are definitely off their rockers. What kind of nutjob comment is that????
October 30th, 2007 at 2:01 pmHe can give himself leprosy?
October 30th, 2007 at 2:16 pmAri needs a job he’ll say anything to get a buck. As for him being Moses well that’s should up set the Christians and the Bush Base with such disrespect. But you can’t blame Ari as the White House is giving away money to friends and Ari kept him mouth shut during the Libby trial to save Dick Cheney. To be a loyal Republican means just what Gerald Ford did. Ford new Nixon was guilty years before he resigned but for the good of the Republican party he kept his mouth shut even letting a criminal go free. Ford put the Republican Party ahead of the United States of America and the American people he served. That’s what it means to be a true Republican even criminals can continue to do crimes against Americans as long as their Republicans. As we see now even murders are protected under the Republican party.
October 30th, 2007 at 2:19 pmProblem is that’s no what the real Republican Party stood for it is what a few evil people came in and made it.
Why do Democrates hate TCDon?
Because he is a Fascist Brownshirt lockstep Lemming Idiot.
Thought I would clear that up.

They only hate POOR children.
October 30th, 2007 at 3:06 pmHe is more like Moshiach’s Donkey, the one which Moses used to transport his wife and children on the road to Egypt.
No offense to Donkeys………….
October 30th, 2007 at 3:13 pmHow can Fleischer be the new Moses? We haven’t seen the burning Bush yet.
October 30th, 2007 at 4:58 pmAri Fleischer, a “modern day Moses”!?
What is interesting in this Webutante’s babble is that he talks about his fellow Americans -who happen to be Jewish- as “them”, and as Fleisher’s “people”.
Even as a backhanded compliment, the whole thing reeks of condescension.
October 30th, 2007 at 5:23 pmI think the metaphor could work if you substitute the Jewish slaves of Egypt led into Israel into the Christofascists of the red states being led to Armageddon, or for dead U.S. soldiers and the republic’s constitution led to, ah, I guess Armageddon again.
October 30th, 2007 at 5:26 pmWebutante = CUA!!!
October 30th, 2007 at 7:22 pmAri Fleischer = CUA!!! or Israeli?
October 30th, 2007 at 7:23 pm…he was taking them out of the bondage of the Democratic party. -webutante

caption: “I just farted. Peeeeuuuuuwwwww!”
October 30th, 2007 at 8:10 pmWait…so is he saying that Fleisher led ‘his people’ (the Jews) out of ‘bondage’ (The Democrats) into the Republican party?
That’s absurd. Lieberman attracted Orthodox Jews, the only Jewish group that votes Republican, but even still, he hardly moved the dial in terms of Jewish vote. Kerry still received 76-78 percent.
We aren’t voting Republican anytime soon. The Democrats are much stronger supporters of our values, which includes more than just Israel, which the religious right only supports to see us burn in hell when their ‘messiah’ returns.
Jews believe in a strong community and that your deeds count for more than your words. That is why we support Democrats…people like John Kerry who fought for his country and liberal causes for his life, and Bill Clinton, who has fought for middle class values his life. And Al Gore who has made the environment a cause. Not a bunch of red state jerkoffs who preach ‘responsibility’ yet suck money from the federal treasury in far greater numbers than they contribute. Not right wing Republicans who preach ‘family values’ then idolize degenerates like Gingrich and Giuliani.
Fleisher ain’t Moses…he’s more like Jar Jar Binks, except not nearly as ‘hilarious’.
