NYC councilman calls for investigation of Rudy.
Last month, Brave New Films released a web video detailing the negative impact some of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s decisions had on firefighters on 9/11 — for example, the rewarding of a no-bid contract that prevented faulty radios from being replaced. Now, in a new video, New York City Councilman Eric Gioia, chair of the city’s oversight and investigations committee, has endorsed an investigation into Giuliani’s handling of the radios used by firefighters on 9/11. No. It is an investigation into his no bid contract which may cost first responders their lives if the radios don’t work or cannot communicate with other emergency personnel. See, it’s about his behavior and his judgement. Maybe if he just added “9/11″ into every sentence he uttered, it just might work. Not so much for New Yorkers, but the red staters eat this stuff up. We’ve been up there “on the high road” as you say while the liars and organized smear machines have been knifing us in the back (and laughing at us when we protest). It’s okay to be feisty! Another inconvenient fact: Pres. Bush made no attempt to stop the attack on Sept. 11th.

They may buy the hype that he’s the Great Hero of 9/11 but his record on gay rights and abortion will be impossible for many of them to swallow. True enough…but all Rudy needs to do to instantly get all the Fundies behind him is to be Born Again. If Rudy becomes the Republican nominee, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him experience a cathartic spiritual event and accept Jebus as his lord and personal savior. Perhaps the cathartic event will be some sort of catastrophic and catalyzing event…like a New Pearl Harbor…that will accomplish the double goal of hitting our panic buttons and legitimizing Rudy’s conversion.

You need to read what I said, and not simply react: “It’s also historical record that the Clinton administration is the only one successful in finding, arresting and convicting the perpetrators of a major terrorist attack on US soil: the first bombing of the WTC.”
Pres. Clinton was successful in arresting and convicting the perpetrators. Pres. Bush isn’t “concerned” with bin Laden anymore.

How convenient is it that the mastermind behind the Sept. 11th attacks just happens to be someone we’ve already caught?
I guess when the policies of the current administration are consistently failing, they’ve got to manufacture their own “success” in an attempt to remain relevant.
