Bush ’shoots the bad guys’ in Iraq video game.

Yesterday, President Bush visited the Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas, where he met with veterans and played a computer game simulating a Baghdad firefight. White House spokeswoman Dana Perino, describing the event, said that Bush helped “shoot the bad guys.”

It’s great that we have a leader who believes in sending subtle messages to our enemies. We don’t want these guys messing with us, and any attempt to threaten our national security should result in total destruction.

  2. A.Political says:

Now they can spin and say he was really on the front lines with the soldiers, fighting the good fight, fearless in his codpiece assured in his knowledge that the corner was being turned…then it comes out 2 months later that he had god mode on…figuratively and literally.

  3. A Patriot Acting says:

The closest this dumbass has come to actually serving his country. I here the game ended with Bush’s screen character getting maimed by an ied driving in an unprotected hummer and dies of infections that his character contracted in a dilapidated virtual Walter Read Hospital. He was heard to whine, “that’s not FAIR! Hey one of you Joe’s got another quarter?”

“bring ‘em on! bring ‘em on! yee-haw!”

  5. LividLib says:

it’s the least he could do given that he’s killed about 4,000 of the good guys.

    “hits” sez:

So many things wrongs with that statement…

First of all, Jake, if you believe there’s anything “subtle” about the Chimperor, you’re even dumber than you’re trying to appear.

Second, when exactly has our “national security” been threatened by “these guys”? Be specific.

  7. stewarjt says:

That is as close to battle as that chicken hawk has ever been or will ever be.

  8. RUCerious says:

Did the cowardly Fu(k strap on his codpiece for the ‘battle’ ?

  9. WaltTheMan says:

Our enemies yawn at us thanks to Bush’s mismanagement of Iraq and complete failure at capturing Osama bin Laden.

They know that if they attack us, Bush will ignore them and attack a country that has nothing to do with them.

This is the best example of satire I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading here. Keep up the insightful critique!

“We don’t want these guys messing with us”

Oh, those dangerous pixels moving around…

  15. Uncle Ho says:

Shouldn’t Bush be portrayed in that video game as one of the bad guys?

  16. Leftside Annie says:

    Bully for him.

That’s the closest that blustering little coward has *EVER* been to combat.

  17. raynman says:

It makes sense… we have a President so isolated from the country that he thinks a sub-30% approval rating is a ‘mandate’, so its only natural that video games become a sort of reality to him.

  18. A Patriot Acting says:

Pay no heed to troll”hits”. He/she is so afraid that the sky is falling he’ll defend his protector to the ends of the earth. All the time on his knees, cowering behind the Cowboy Manchild clutching his trousers crying, “protect me, Daddy from the big bad terrorists. That Ahmedinejad looks mean and scary, can we nuke him, Daddy?”

  19. missmolly says:

At least in the video game, it was probably easy to see who the “bad guys” were (although the game probably didn’t say why they were “bad” — not like that’s relevant).

  20. ralph the wonder llama says:

Sometimes it’s hard to take “sh!ts” seriously.

    Okay… it’s impossible to take “sh!ts” seriously.

Man, do we have some dumb ttrolls here.

  21. toasterhead says:

How did this happen? Was he unable to get a deferment to the Air National Guard video game from George Abu George?

  22. Oval12345678 aka James K. Sayre says:

Bush has murdered 1,000,000 Iraqis in his imperial war/occupation of Iraq. Some “video game,” huh?

  23. helenahandbasket says:

Man-child george loves to play soldier, torture and blow thing up.

  24. EvilPoet says:

The Emperor continues to fiddle while Rome burns. REALITY CHECK: Using the troops as props for photo ops is not support it’s opportunistic.

  25. Veritas says:

these would be the bad guys Dumbo refers to as “thugs and killers”? Wow – how articulate can one get?

  26. Veritas says:

Bush is stuck back in the days of lincoln logs and metal military sets.

  27. mary says:

“Our system needs to be modernized,” Bush said. “We have an outdated system that can bog down some of those recovering in a maze of bureaucracy.”

Uh, how long has this war been going on? Bush is the CIC and he now says, “Our system” needs work? Nice of him to notice after all this time.

  28. Zimzone says:

VV is fine playing war games, just never ask him to actually serve during wartime.

    Do sociopaths ever grow up?

  29. Jackie says:

As the true coward that Bush is he can stoop the bad guys in a game but skip out when it comes time to stand up and be a man. If their were a game that shot back baby George will call his Daddy for help as usual.

  30. SP Biloxi says:

The gang that can’t shoot straight. Bin Laden is wandering this earth and still not caught yet Bush shoots the bad guys from an Iraq video game. But that’s Bush’s bubble world. LOL!

  31. Jay Randal says:

LOL I bet Bush is a bad marksman and shot the bad guys in the groin.

  32. WaltinTexas says:

I wonder if he wore his “Mission Accomplished” flight suit while he was playing so he could feel extra tough?

  33. Buckie Boy says:

“Put him on the game grid, Zark.”

Just how do you explain to some one as stupid and ignorant as (s)hits that he is just that, stupid, ignorant, bigoted? It’s like if you are all those things, then you will never understand what a total dolt you are. Just a vicious circle I guess.

Yes, (s)hits you are an idiot, sorry, but you just are.

    Buck Fush

  34. thecowboydictator says:

oh God, just when I thought I heard everything. I just gets worse each day. What a retard.

  35. TC-12 says:

What’ya know, after skirting service in Vietnam with a little help from Daddy, George has finally seen combat after all! Who would have guessed? Now he can compare himself to John Kerry, Jim Webb, John Murtha, Bob Kerrey, Max Cleland, Wesley Clark, Jack Kennedy, and so many others who aren’t Republicans.

  36. TC-12 says:

That entire event with George at the Brooke Army Medical Center was a thoroughly irresponsible affair. Didn’t they know that children shouldn’t be given access to guns?!!!

  37. foxdie says:

Bullshit, everyone knows Bush is a TKer. :P

  38. sacopenapa says:

…and than he declared: “Mission Acomplished!”.
