Baird moves TOWARD the Republican position and this make compromise IMPOSSIBLE. Usually compromise involves both sides incrementally giving in to reach a position in the middle. But not anymore. The paradigm has shifted. We need to stop taking a step closer to their position; all they do is take a step further back. It is time to hold firm. It is time to hold fast to our positions and hold them accountable for their positions and the administration's crimes. We forget that we are in the majority.
