I really have no idea what the President says in interviews because I never watch as they are on Fox but as it turns out I just come here and the truth as I need to know it is all laid out for my consumption â€¦. life is great.

Not surprising. I recently stayed at a Country Inn in Galesburg, IL. All of the TV’s in the lobby were tuned to Fox and they would not allow them to be changed. Said it was “corporate policy.”

Well, this is how they communicate to their demographic — people who are happy to be uninformed, don’t care what goes on in their world, and just want to see a constant succession of pretty shiny things.

And because the brains of their viewing audience have turned to pablum, they can force-feed any propaganda they want, knowing it will be swallowed without protest.

And yes — the people in the audience vote.

I can’t help but feel like I’m watching tabloid television whenever I happen to catch a glimpse of a fox news program. The combination of the cheesy over the top graphics to the sensationalist tone they use about the most mundane crap that helps them avoid talking about Iraq. The only person on that network who is anything near a centrist is Greta Van Susteren and they relegate her to searching for missing pretty white girls in countries with “those brown people.”

The President has the right to be interviewed by whomever he wishes — and appear on whatever news outlet he wishes. However, most presidents aren’t afraid to speak to anyone and are willing to handle the occasional tough question.

But even though Bush is an obvious coward, one has to admit — if it wasn’t for Fox, Bush wouldn’t speak publicly at all. And since I never watch Fox News (OR the Fox Business Channel), I don’t have to worry about listening to him.

If Bush ever says anything other than the SOS, I’m sure I’ll hear about it.
