Newsweek taps Kos as ‘08 contributor.

Newsweek has announced that DailyKos founder Markos Moulitsas “will become a Newsweek contributor for the 2008 presidential campaign, offering occasional opinion pieces to the pages of the magazine and to Newsweek.com.” Kos also reports that Newsweek plans to “balance” his contributions with a conservative.

Kos will be an asset to Newsweek - but let's see how they "balance" his commentary.

Excellent - it's about time we progressives had a viewpoint in the MSM!!

  4. Buckie Boy Says:

Let's see, balance his commentary, mmmm, who would that be?

Maybe Bill 0 IQ would be a good choice for a big fat lieing piece of fascist brownstained pig to counter those darn liberal FACTS.

I mean Mr. Sexual Harrassment is so truthful and forthright, honest, moral, and a fine example of conservatives everywhere.

How do you use "falafel" in the shower Bill 0 IQ? You perv.

    Buck Fush

No way. Newsweek just marked themselves as "far left anti-Amrerican traitors" in BillO's pointy head.

  7. GSD Says:

Outrageous! KOSmmunists given a national pedestal to spread lies! We must balance him out with 12 Jesus loving, God fearing Conservatives immediately or the nation will collapse.

    Congrats Markos.

  8. Evergreen2U Says:

Maybe Kos can talk about that misnomer, "conservative".

Keep them honest and call them by their correct names if that is what he will be up against: corporatists or fascists whatever.

Isn't NewSpeak already chock full of facist, corporate sucking staff members who lean RePugniScum? Why do they need to hire another one just to handle Markos?

    Good Luck Markos!!!

damn you, Anna Marie Cox! Damn you all to hell.
I mean, it was just a matter of time, wasn't it? I'll prepare for the worst and hopefully (like with Greenwald at Salon) I'll eat my words.

still, it seems to me that Markos is made for that world. now he can roll his eyes at Kucinich from a bed of roses. before you know it he'll be in the Daily Howler on a weekly basis.

like I said, I'm prepared for the worst.

  13. ucsbclassics53 Says:

Let me guess, Newsweek will have a conservative and a neocon to balance out Kos...or you just wait, the right-wing noise machine will vent and spew its rage and Newsweek will rescind the offer.

  14. TexMex Says:

    Congratulations!
    Mr. Markos Moulitsas!
