Actually, I think the explanation of his behavior is the same for all the RNC trolls that come here. They are on what they consider to be a “mission”. They are not here to debate with us, they are here to disrupt our threads and then they sit back and laugh when they create the chaos they crave. They are also here to “seed” our threads with nasty posts that the Right Wing Talking Heads can point to and say that we are “enter here what they want to think we are”.

Again, the facts don’t support this argument. There was overwhelming evidence that this group of ballots was filled with fraud. Gore’s campaign people wanted them challenged and Gore DIDN’T challenge them in spite of the fact that many had no dates or signatures.

Please scroll down to page 8 of this document and take a look at the table called “results.” There, you will find the final tally which shows that if all the ballots had been counted in the state of Florida, Gore would have won no matter what counting standard they chose. This, of course doesn’t even take into account the illegal actions Florida state officials took preventing many people of color from voting. As you may know, the Jeb Bush administration settled a lawsuit with the NAACP over this issue admitting that people were illegally prevented from voting or the thousands of illegal overseas ballots which Lieberman didn’t want challenged. It also doesn’t include the thousands of “overvotes” which the judge in Broward County decided should be counted.

Bottom line: the Supreme Court prevented the counting of all state ballots which would have shown that Gore won under any counting standard.

Your wrong my friend. Does this consortium include millitary ballots that Gore tried to purge? Do you remeber that? Or has selective memory come our way? Another reason why the millitary does’nt vote democrastic.

Ummm, it was the Republicans that tried to get absentee ballots from overseas thrown out (and succeeded) … but only for Democratic leaning counties. In Republican counties, they instead pushed for inclusion of all ballots, including quite obviously illegal ones such as one faxed in, IIRC. After the Dem memo on challenges was disclosed, the Dems dropped all efforts to challenge ballots. See the article about this, July 2001, in the N.Y. Times by Dale Van Natta (you can search it on the web). Tales by the RW foamer noise machine about Dems disenfranchising the military are simply untrue. It was only Republicans that tried this (and succeeded).

You really need to learn a bit, SM, before opening your mouth.

To the others: I think that the explanation for SM’s behaviour here is that he started “Happy Hour” a bit earlier than claimed….
